  1. Arghhhhhhh ye scallywags!!!
  2. Hi Ciglee, Ok so you already know that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. It's gonna be hard at first, but you will catch on quickly and the daunting, depressing feeling will eventually feel like a distant memory. But yknow what.... have your pity party!!! Go for it. I hereby give you permission to be upset, mad, depressed and just genuinely...
  3. Thanks all!!!! I called them and they said because they get the distilled vinegar from outside source they couldn't confirm but I could swear I had, had it before and was fine but couldn't remember for sure if that was the brand I had. Thanks again.
  4. I know this is a ConAgra product which is good about labeling, but does anyone know if this is gluten free?
  5. Happy Birthday!!!! I just turned 29 also! (No yelling, but I'm a little bummed about this one).
  6. Hey Jayson, Just saw this. I got married at the Swan Club in Roslyn. I kinda chose it because I was sick of looking at places - LOL!! We looked at places in Westchester, Hudson Valley and Long Island. I LOVED the Bourne Mansion out in Oakdale and did my 5 minute hissy fit of "I want, I want, I want." But made the mature decision that it would just...
  7. Hey Laura!! Let me know if you decide to come. I would love to meet up!!!
  8. I kinda agree. But I still find this board keeps me informed about any changes that may happen (like with the Coca Puffs), so I stick around and basically just ignore any of the posts that don't interest me. Sorry to see you go, but I understand.
  9. Welcome Shannon!! I'm sure you're going to get tons of suggestions but here are some of my favorites. Bread - Order from Gluten Free Bread Basket in Chester, NY www.gfbreadbasket.com Pasta - Tinkyada Chicken Nuggets - Bell & Evans gluten-free Chicken Nuggets and/or Tenders (can be found at Whole Foods) Cereal - Nature's Path...
  10. Ok I agree, that email was beyond rude!! I mean asking to leave feedback, fine. And your response was very nice and acceptable... his was ridiculous!!! And if he wants feedback so bad I would give him what he wants. Your feedback should be: Received item, all looks well. Seller e-mailed me requesting feedback and when I responded letting them know that...
  11. Hi and welcome. I was gonna say, I also love Sweet Baby Ray's, but not sure if it will be spicy enough for you. Here's the website: Open Original Shared Link I'm not a huge help on dressings, but the Parmesan Garlic, Newman's Own one that someone suggested sounds great. Think I'll give that a try. LOL!
  12. I normally can't stand her, especially on her show $40 a day; I mean c'mon, you can't have an orgasm over every morsel you put in your mouth. But I may have to change my mind on her.
  13. Has any tried this? Is it good?
  14. I've never tried them but I've heard the ones from Celiac Specialities are good. Open Original Shared Link
  15. Oh I heard about them once before. Never gave them much thought. I think I'll have to give it a try. Thanks!
  16. To much partying. I'm pretty sure my celiac developed during my late teens/early 20's when I was partying A LOT. I think I wore my body out, and my lifestyle was just so fast for my body to handle.
  17. How the heck do you fry mac n' cheese?!!! Or better yet, why? LOL!! I do however miss the mac n' cheese from Chat n' Chew. It's this place in NYC that I used to go with my friends all the time. It has total comfort food, and it was just out place we would go when we just wanted a laid back girls night. Actually it is where I told my best girlfriends...
  18. I'm pretty sure Aleeve is gluten free but I actually don't take it because I find it does bother by stomach. I pretty much stick with Tylenol or Advil for headaches. I get a lot of migraines and Excedrin Migraine is like a miracle pill, but unfortunately it bothers my stomach so much. It might just be to harsh for you.
  19. I've never had a bad experience there, and I always get the chicken parm. Is that what you normally used to get? Maybe try something different if you go back? This actually is one of the restaurants that I always feel they take so much care. Especially since everytime I've eaten there John, the owner always comes over to ask how things were and just...
  20. I definately feel you should say something to them. I mean what the heck is wrong with people?!!!! What part of that is funny. Tell her if she thinks it's so funny that you would love to show her just how funny it is and cough all over her and leave your snotty, infected tissues all over her personal things!! This is really just one of the rudest, dumbest...
  21. Oh don't worry, so was I!! I think that's what makes this so funny. I mean I was really trying to figure this out and thought it was some really serious like mind-bender riddle. Then when I saw the punch line I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
  22. Subject: The Answer to this riddle could save your life. You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed. On your right side is a sharp drop off, and on your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you. Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it. Behind you is a lion running at the...
  23. OMG, I can't believe anyone could compare a knish to a hot pocket!! My grandmother would turn over in her grave! I was gonna say I would ask my dad for a recipe, but I think your uncle has it covered. LOL!! Have you ever had a sweet potato knish?!!! Mmmmmm!!! Although I love them all. Potato (round and square), spinach. Ok, I officially miss knishes...
  24. Thanks!!!
