  1. Well, maybe the dog will like it
  2. I love seeing all of these colorful snack foods! Very cheerful
  3. Along with the mold problem, it's possible that you are also anemic. Did your doctor mention this, or suggest you suppliment iron? You may want to check back with the office to make sure. Let them know that you're dizzy and weak. These are among the symptoms of anemia--and anemia is a common symptom of Celiac. I was severly anemic for years (pre Celiac...
  4. I will keep you and your son in my thoughts. I remember how difficult it is when it's our little one who has to undergo a procedure. I'm sure everything will go smoothly--I had both done the same day, and felt absolutely fine when I woke up and didn't remember a thing. Try and relax, he's going to be fine
  5. Yes, especially this part: A toilet paper ribbon is ceremoniously ripped from the entrance, and three visitors scramble up to christen the johns. Seems appropriate
  6. Andrea--I meant to tell you this earlier, but my oldest son just dropped by The recipe I gave before used to call for almost twice the amount of sugar--it's just as good with the smaller amount of brown sugar. Eh--a toy's a toy
  7. Hi Betty, When glutened, I get stomach pain, in addition to the nausea and diarreah. I would describe it as having been kicked in the stomach.
  8. Lynne, I pray that ALS isn't what you have. So, you asked an honest question and the guy was nasty to you? Gee, dosen't sound very supportive to me....
  9. The only things that jump out at me are the processed foods--those could be cross contaminated at the factory. Focus on the products that you tend to eat often--if you eat a food often or every day, it could make you feel constantly sick. Not to mention keeping your blood tests positive. Could you try and eat nothing processed, get to feeling...
  10. Julie, This is a recipe I came up with--it's based on a wheat-free cookie recipe from Nestle, but I made several changes-- Grain Free Chocolate Chip Cookies Mix in bowl until light and creamy: 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1/2 cup Spectrum Organic Shortening, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla. Add: 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1+ 1/4 cup potato...
  11. Julie--that's really dissapointing news Laura had a great idea--when you can, list everything you use/eat that you can think of. We'll do our best to help you figure this thing out What about a collander? Detergents/soaps/personal care stuff-- Do you do take out or regularly eat at any place in particular?
  12. Hi Donna Glad to have another 40 ish aboard!! I use Neutrogena lip gloss and lipsticks. They have lots of colors--even browns I just picked up one of their tinted lip balms yesterday, but havn't tried it yet.
  13. Rachel, the enzyme theory sounds interesting. I wonder if using digestive enzymes will help in the meantime? Julie, Your cookies sound delicious! I've been making grain free chocolate chip cookies at least once a week I buy one bag for baking, and another one for snacking
  14. I would consider mine a medium length--nice and oval.
  15. Donna--how cute! We should all make our avatars pictures of our favorite Racheling-worthy foods!
  16. I have an opinion on the fridge issue (surprise ) We decided to get a new one about a year ago because the one that came with this house was nice, but too small for us. I had my heart set on a pull out freezer with a double door top. We go to the store to buy that exact fridge (my husband is very agreeable--likes to keep me happy, if you know...
  17. Hi there, Tiffany
  18. Vincent, I'm sorry I missed your posts from last night. (Fell asleep watching TV ) Anyway, that's awful that you have those mood swings and feelings of rage. I can only speak from limited experience. I used to have a lot of problems with feelings of rage that would build up inside--not good, and looking back, I can see I was doing harm by holding...
  19. I like how your son thinks! Well, this 40's-ish woman is signing off to watch 'Desparate Housewives' ~ talk to you all later
  20. Laura--If this will help, the episode was titled "Like Mother, Like Son".
  21. My husband took it for 3 weeks recently for Lyme--he had no side effects at all.
  22. Ahem, might you be refering to moi? Ish is ok--I've been called worse....
