  1. Also...yes to probiotics! I believe that they really do help!
  2. I think when your gut is in bad shape you have to start slowly with supplements. I am D deficient. My Dr wanted me to do 2000 IUs a day...I couldn't tolerate it. So I went out and got 400's. For 2 weeks I did 400 once a day. Then 400 twice day. It took a bit but I was able to get to the 2000. My D went up 3 points in 4 months so it's an improvement...

  5. Wow...that's really tough. (((Hugs))) to you. I'm sorry for your struggle. I would absolutely request copies of the bloodwork...it's your right to have the results. I was diagnosed through blood only. I second what the others have said...go gluten free...don't continue to be miserable. You may find that your anxiety will be reduced a great deal after...

  8. Oh...that's awful! I'm so sorry! Big (((hugs))) that you feel better quickly. Good for you going 2 years without being glutened! When I do get hit, besides the D, I get the horrible joint pains too. Maybe try taking a nice Epsom salt bath and be really good to yourself! We ate at my mom's on Christmas Eve...There was only 1 item with gluten and...

  13. Hey all... I've decided that I really want to make a yule log for Christmas. I've never made one before, but my Thanksgiving pumpkin roll was such a hit that I feel inspired. So...I'm looking for a tried and true recipe...anyone have one? Also, traditionally is the filling chocolate or white? I've seen both. Thanks so much!

  22. Wow! I don't even know what half of that is...why would anyone eat it? I used to, of course, but when I look at a label now if it has more than a few ingredients or has things I can't pronounce, I just put it back.
