  1. If you want another really yummy treat from Outback order the crab dip from the appetizer menu and the chicken/bacon/swiss sandwich (no bun) from the burger menu. I order with brocolli. Then I dip the chicken and brocolli in the crab dip. It is REALLY good, very rich!!! I love it!!!
  2. Everyone is different. Some, like me, it only takes a few hours or a few days to recover. Others it can take up to about a month to recover fully. I think some it may take even longer. Hopefully your reaction is almost over.
  3. Here's a link to the baby photo gallery for whenever little Annika decides to show herself. Open Original Shared Link Her picture should be posted within hours of her birth. Hopefully there won't be two Annika's on the same day. LOL I was afraid I'd forget to post the link, so I figured I'd better post it now while I'm thinking about it.
  4. Some hospitals you do, some you don't. I know our hospital doesn't require any passwords or anything. Stef, so glad things are progressing for you. I thought for sure that you were having him yesterday. Hopefully you'll go today or tomorrow. I'm so excited for you!!!
  5. WOW!!! That's awesome if a mainstream company like Perdue chicken is labeling their products as gluten free!

    ARCHIVED Preggie Pops

You can find them at Babie's R Us, Motherhood Maternity, and many other maternity/baby stores. I don't know if they're gluten free though.
  7. Pre-dx I would get eaten alive by mosquitos. Now I rarely ever get bit. Plus, when I do get bit now they're no where near as painful and itchy.
  8. I hope so, for her sake. It's starting to get uncomfortable now and her due date is 9 days closer than mine!
  9. Stef hasn't been online for over 24 hours now... Anyone know if anything's happening? I know it's the weekend and things are slow on weekends, but her due date is only 3 days away. And she sounded like she was getting closer and closer as the days flew by.
  10. He he he... I bake a few batches at a time... That's the ONLY way I can get them to last more than a day!
  11. Open Original Shared Link This is an absolutely wonderful recipe!!! Plus, the cupcakes last room temperature for SO long! I think I was still eating mine almost a week later and they were still the perfect texture and taste. I highly recommend NOT refrigerating these cupcakes as it changes the texture somewhat. Kbabe... I'll have to try this recipe...
  12. Wow, holy nesting batman!!!
  13. I recall reading something a while ago that said Red Bridge was only good for either 30 or 60 days, I can't remember which and it has to be refrigerated the entire time. I don't know if there's any truth to this or not, it's just something I read a while back. In my personal opinion, New Grist is too mild and lacking in flavor, though I could drink it...
  14. Are you talking about raw Tyson brand chicken breasts, uncooked and unseasoned? If so, they are gluten free. Grains in fresh meats have to be identified on the label in the US.
  15. I HOPE SO!!! Now that my birthday's over, I'm ready to get on with things... I can't wait to see her!
  16. Just a quick update... I'm still hanging around... Last night I began to get VERY uncomfortable and I'm now having some contractions that are very different from the BH ones I've been experiencing. I doubt that I'll be lucky enough to go into labor soon though. The doctor said that since I never went into labor naturally last time that it would be treating...

    ARCHIVED Guhlia

Awwww, thanks guys! Happy birthday ptkids! I had a great day so far... My hubby surprised me this morning with a gorgeous pair of diamond hoop earrings, exactly the style that I would wear. He also watched Tori for me so I could make my favorite breakfast, creamed chipped beef on toast. Then, he made me lunch. The only thing that could spoil my day is getting...
  18. Tori is 3-1/2. She's very excited. She can't wait until she can hold the baby. She's been getting more and more interested in other people's babies ever since we got pregnant. She's going to be a wonderful big sister.
  19. I'll send a text out to Amanda if that's okay with her. I know that I can use my cell phone in the hospital waiting room. I'll probably be living in there when I'm not with Annika. Hopefully I'll have a successful VBAC and they'll let me go relatively quickly. Staying in the hospital is NOT going to be much fun with having to make my own meals and such....
  20. Don't they keep the baby longer than the mother if the mother is discharged the same day? I thought the baby had to stay overnight at least. Maybe I'm very wrong.
  21. What do they do if you're nursing? Make you stay there so you can nurse every few hours without a room or bed??? I was thinking about that the other day and it got me freaked out. Though, it would be nice to be able to leave to get food. For those of you who read my rant on the nesting thread... I have some very good news! Not only did my husband...
  22. Sounds really neat, Stef! I can tell you're getting more and more excited. The last week or two are the hardest because you get so excited to meet the baby. I'm hoping that ours waits another few days at least. Tomorrow is my b-day and I really don't want her to have to share her birthday with me. Plus, I have a cold and I'd really like to be healthier...
  23. This is sad, sad news for Celiacs everywhere.
  24. Last time I was 80% effaced for a week or two and nothing happened. Keep in mind though that I was VERY sick with Celiac at that point. I don't think my body was functioning properly. I'm hoping that this time things move along quicker and easier. I am really committed to a natural child birth. That will set this pregnancy apart from the last one and make...
  25. Nothing here yet either, Stef... That would be funny if we had them the same day. Our due dates are really close, so I guess it's possible. Probably unlikely though...
