  1. Happy Birthday!!!! May you have many more to come.
  2. You would also think that with the rise in children with food allergies, that food rewards would not be allowed unless everyone can enjoy them. If you look around there are a lot of children with allergy to dyes in food and other allergies that don't really come up as often. There are so many other alternatives to this than food. I like what others have said...
  3. I am a little too clumsy to skateboard, but I rollerblade, ice skate, and ski (when there is snow) which seems to be not so much this winter.
  4. I buy the Wegmans brand here, it says Gluten Free on the jar.
  5. Actually, there are a lot of foods which are naturally gluten free. Vegtables, fruits and most meats as long as you don't put sauces/marinades/breading etc on them. If you are good at baking, you can make very yummy cookies/cakes for 1/2 the price of buying them pre-made. Pasta is expensive, but you can buy bags but only make it for her. It will last longer...
  6. I noticed I developed a lot of white spots before I learned I had celiac.
  7. Honestly, whenever I go to a party and there are children there, they seem to go for the veggie/fruit trays. Raw veggies seem to be a hit, ask if maybe you could provide the dip (so its gluten free). Its a healthy option everyone can enjoy!
  8. Hehe, and they should have to learn how to relive their lives and NO CHEATING!!!! :)
  9. My goodness that is scary.
  10. Couldn't they encourage the kids with stickers or fruit something healthy...All the across the country you see stories of how unhealthy school lunches are and how they are supposed to be offering healthy meals, well it is not helping when the teacher are serving sugary junky snacks in the classroom as rewards.
  11. Their statement puts my mind at ease, I also feel they are doing a good job in informing us. Thanks!
  12. We can talk about other stuff too, like we were after the toliet paper deal calmed down. We were having a lot of fun.
  13. Welcome to the board, you will find a lot of help from everyone here.
  14. I have not seen that movie, is it a comedy? I am glad I made someone laugh today Work will be nice, Nasty is off the last two days of the week!! Those are the days I actually enjoy going to work, all in all I enjoy my job.
  15. I bought the Jif with Honey when I was at the shore...tasty especially with toast and the Wegmans fruity spread I bought.
  16. It makes you wonder how no one heard or saw anything when people are lugging a washing machine, it might be dark at night but sounds are a whole lot clearer when the world is sleeping.
  17. I only have one real nasty where I am...but that one nasty can influence the mood in the office and when the nasty gets next to my cubby neighbor I often wonder which are the true friends and who pretends, if you know where I am coming from. On days when that one nasty is not around it is like working in a whole different world, everyone smiles. Sure Nasty...

  20. My area finally got snow....only a coating but still snow!!!! Winter has arrived!!!! This is exciting, it was 60-70 the first few weeks of winter and in PA that is odd!!!
  21. I have my little flower girl picked out, she is a child who when she was 2months old was placed in my home as a foster child (my parents took foster children) she stayed with us until she was almost 3, then got adopted to a very nice couple who live about 15 minutes from my parents. The woman is in a wheelchair, she was hit by a drunk driver when she was...
