  1. Funny you say that, Someone took my Cape May magnet off my car. I love that it has the C then a lighthouse then a M. I got it when we went to Cape May the first year and climbed the lighthouse. Sure it only cost a few bucks but what would someone want with it. Strangely they left my other magnet which says I love my Maine Coon in a pawprint behind...
  2. Jess- Excuse my lack of terms I could not find my actual copy but I know the most important parts, and I am not the most domestic person either 1 package of Tinkyada spaghetti 1 bottle of Italian dressing (I use Wegmans brand but whatever your favorite is will work) 1 package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or chicken stir-fry) Preheat...
  3. I wish I could be of more help but I use the Wegmans brand buttery syrup, which has the gluten free "G" on it. I also use homemade maple syrup which my little Leah's family makes every year.
  4. I find myself waiting the storm out also, I don't believe there is much more to do. Sometimes a cup of tea helps. If it is the work week I usually take some immoudium for the D and hope for the best. Good Luck, it could be worse you could have missed a day of work for this. It is bad it is your weekend, but you can just lounge and enjoy the chilly winter...
  5. This still happens to me sometimes, but it used to happen all the time in the begining. I felt as if my stomach was doing twists, and sometimes that nausea feeling. Like I said every now and again it happens but since being on the diet for some time it has helped.
  6. Welcome Addie, you will find so much help here. What an adorable little baby
  7. one member, Guhlia, lives in my area and she has helped with hints on our area's offerings. She also always lends an ear when I have something to say. Thank You!!! To all the other members who have helped with my advice I owe all you guys. You have helped me through a lot. Love ya all!!!
  8. That is exactly what I was thinking the first time I was ever there. I drove to Baltimore to go there and was disappointed since I could not really find anything and everything was together. I liked the baked foods. I want to try to get to a different store, maybe it will be a better place.
  9. I hope you are feeling better, I always seem to get a little sick when I know I have a gathering of some sort....I blame my nerves. I don't think my body ever forgot all those pre-celiac public sick days.
  10. I also agree with Angie's advice. It was very nice to do that for you, but they probably do not understand the complete diet either, the CC, and the small places gluten pops up in that you would never expect to find it, we struggle with that day after day sometimes. I wish my coworkers tried to help me, one made me the birthday cupcakes, but everyone else...
  11. I have generic Mountain Dew and it says Gluten Free right on it. I am in the US
  12. Always good to know! Thank You
  13. I try Tylenol PM, most of that time it helps, I tried this "fast-acting" sleep pill but I was still WIDE awake hours later plus I got very jumpy and it made my heart race, it was enough for me to never try it again.

    ARCHIVED Ihop

I don't have IHOP but I was at another place and got an omlet, it looked like it had pancake bits in it. Now I know I wasn't crazy!
  15. I couldn't find this ice cream either and John really wants it too. He made me drive to 5 Giant stores looking for it.
  16. Angie, Those waffles do look yummy! Do you have a hard time keeping them on the table?
  17. Wax paper is a very good idea. Also making sure the microwave is clean, as Fiddle Faddle mentioned. You would be surprised at the stuff people cook and do not clean up *gags* I always use the gladware....I always have that on hand.
  18. Welcome Welcome Welcome :):)
  19. For Mainstream cereals Fruity Pebbles. For others, I do PerkyO's frosted flavor but at almost $7 a box I rarely buy it.
  20. MSG is gluten free but it really does some funky things to your body. I don't avoid it but limit how much I eat. I notice it in some foods more then others.
  21. The Nasties...that is so funny! I am going to comment more on this once I get home.
  22. It's never too late Welcome!!!
  23. It is a horrible feeling somedays, the thing that bugs me the most is only myself and another girl sit in my area. When I leave to go somewhere when I come back a girl I do not get along with is always here and they are whispering and once I sit down they both stand up and leave. Even if it has nothing to do with me....how would you take it?
  24. I go between Crest and Arm and Hammer. Both work well. I just use them for two different reasons. I am goofy though
  25. Fiddle-Faddle- you and I work in the same place only different locations...only we are not union where I am but I work with about 10 women and the drama is nuts! I am the youngest in the office and I feel as if I act more mature than the senior members of the team, if you can call what we have a team, everyone is for themselves. There is the back stabbing...
