    Are Tiger's Milk bars gluten-free? I have a Peanut Butter flavored bar. The only thing I'm not sure about is "natural flavors". Of course. Their site is under construction!

    I just found out that MAC Brush Cleanser has some kind of wheat stuff in it. It's a good thing I never used it to wash my makeup brushes. I'm still grossed out by the fact that preshredded cheese has flour. Ew. That would stop me from eating it even before going gluten-free.

    Wow, I'm glad this thread came up. I have been a total space cadet for a few years now. I hate driving because it makes me nervous and stressed. I just don't feel like I'm as alert as I should be.     I use Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi shampoo. I use the Wella (color care?) conditioner. I like them a lot, and it's all I have since I found out my Sebastian Laminates shampoo & conditioner have wheat amino acids. The gel is ok though.

    Just curious- can you have endometriosis without knowing it? Many of these posts make it sound painful. My gran had a "tipped uterus" and my mom said it took a while before she was conceived. I googled it and found that endometriosis is one cause for this. I don't remember hearing much about it being painful... so maybe she didn't get it from endometriosis...

    You might be thinking of monosodium glutamate. I've seen that in the "maybe" category, but only because of traces from the source. The compund itself is just another chemical. "Salt" is a generic term but actual sodium is just sodium. The only place you really get sodium is from regular table salt (super cheap), which is sodium chloride. I think companies...

    I just had the same problem on Monday! The tech at Walgreen's looked at me like "You want me to look up ALL THAT?!?" She gave me a printout of the Walgreen's brand gluten-free list, which helped, but still. What the heck? The actual pharmacist is very helpful though. If he'd been available I would have talked to him.

    I think the gluten-free diet has helped! In the last week my allergies were the worst I've had in a long time.     I take Claritin in the morning and Benadryl at night. I had to stop taking the generics though because some have "starch". The brands are pretty reasonable at Costco. I take Flonase as I need it (usually before bed) and occasionally I'll use an albuterol inhaler. Having an air filter has really helped me too. Mine just broke! I notice a big difference...

    Wow, vitamin K is in coffee? I'm set! I don't think I bruise easily, but I am definitely a klutz, so I have bruises all over my legs from doing stupid klutzy stuff. They show up because I'm so pale. My gran bruised very easily, and I think my mom does too.

    I'm in San Francisco. I've been shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Rainbow Grocery. As far as Mexican food goes, it seems like all the things you need to worry about only apply to Americanized chains. We have tons of authentic taquerias and Mexican markets in SF. My brother and cousin have all had that grid test with a million different substances, and I think it would be a good thing since I'm sensitive to a few things already.     Are gallstones and gall bladder removals common for those with celiac disease? Dang, my grandmother had hers removed. That's one more issue I've heard about on this forum that she also had.

    I have a number of friends who went to UCSC. (I grew up 40 miles south.) One of them actually lived in upperclassmen apartments as a freshman, just because she turned in her stuff late.     Yeah, I noticed that their chicken taquitos were gluten-free so I sent them an email. I haven't seen past versions so I didn't know they were changing it... I think everyone is changing menus/recipes right now because of the new FDA thing and the McD's law suit.
