  1. Wow...I guess I am naive about these things. You do make sense and I've never considered these things before. I've always been a romantic
  2. Thank you for contacting TriVita Member Services. We are sorry that our product labels do not currently show if a product is gluten free. Rest assured that only our Peaches and Cream Fiber contains gluten, all others are gluten free. Should you need further assistance, you may contact one of our Wellness Consultants at 1-800-991-7116. Our consultants...
  3. My husband's sister is the same way. She has already said that she'd kill herself first before going on a gluten free diet like her brother. She admits that she probably has celiac but says she'll never stop eating wheat pasta (she goes out to eat all the time), and she has a lot of celiac symptoms 1) Indigestion/bloating/gas 2) Dental/bone problems...
  4. That sounds delicious!! What a great idea...now I want to go out and buy a Bullet!
  5. Oftentimes parents who have lax attitudes about porn have it in their homes as well, and while they might try to keep it away from their kids the kids know what is going on. So while the parents may watch it, the kid feels it's OK and even a curosity which the kid can't access at home. So he'll take the risk of accessing it elsewhere. And also...
  6. to those with upper pain - is it on front or back of torso? Does it wrap around to your back? Does it go away if you burp? Do you find it comes on after eating a meal which is high fat? (assuming you are eating gluten free) During times when you have this pain are you experiencing constipation or diarrhea? You can send me a private message...
  7. Our issue is the amount and type of fiber - A lot of gluten-free breads do not have the same fiber amount as regular whole wheat breads and some of the fiber which gluten-free baking companies is tougher to digest than others and may not be suitable..... Most commercial gluten breads utilize "enriched" flour and that's why they tend to show higher...
  8. sounds yummy great!
  9. My friends and colleagues at work have been telling me about a new gluten-free Bakery in NJ but they just don't recall where (what city) it's in. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks Deb
  10. This is rather scarey. One thing is that the container being a food it can become moldy and/or rotten - so I don't think these items could be warehoused for very long.
  11. That is interesting... I am just trying to understand it all. I am in my low 50's and have always been economically independent. The person I would be referring to in my description had been this way since she was in her in her late teens, before her wares would be considered even close to expiring. She's of the opinion that she can just ...
  12. How/where do I get Contes? mail order?
  13. I'd like to try this..but I don't know what to make with it. Any suggestions?
  14. My husband frequently has them where he has the gluten food in front of him, but he knows he cannot eat it. And says to himself in the dream "Why is this food here? I cannot eat it."
  15. Edited the post and Opted out - no comment after all - Best wishes to all
  16. There is a Pathmark on Lafayette St. but again you'll need to take a taxi The main street in Newark downtown is Broad St. , Park Place is off of Broad St. right at Military Park. There is nothing there to walk to on Park Place. A lot of offices and maybe luncheonettes for the lunch hour rush. You'll need a taxi to take you to those restaurants by...
  17. This chick didn't do that ....but she did make him give her two diamond engagement rings - the one he picked out wasn't good enough for her......so she designed her own and had it made and he paid for it. That was after he paid for her to get all her front teeth capped......
  18. I grew up in that city and my family lives there. Ironbound (east side of Newark, but not East Newark) have superb Portuguese restaurants - the parking in Ironbound is terrible - never anywhere to park. And my Aunt works at Rutgers Newark. Which hotel will you be at? Are you staying near Newark Liberty International Airport? So that I can see...
  19. You're a female; so she'd be your competition (if you want older man). I am just amazed over her attitude but more amazed to think that there are men out there who'd go for this type of woman knowingly....she seems to find boyfriends on the side, but for some reason or another they fizzle out. But what are the "tests" that logical men use? For example...
  20. Without going into detail why I am interested.....I guess I am looking at this as a sociological question as I am not interested so much in what this woman is doing but more so would like to know how men allow this to happen... This being said My question:How do men weed out gold diggers (women who want to be with you only for your money ? What...
  21. In this situation, would then the guest have to pay for their own specialized meal?
  22. My mind keeps going back to the disappointed little boy It must have made him feel like he has something bad that no one wants to deal with.
  23. Avon gives this answer too now I called them last year about Oatmeal based body lotion (as a test) and I was told it was gluten free. eeek! The customer service people must really not know the answer and are just reading the label for the word "gluten?" Cross Avon off list now.....
