Can anyone recommend a favorite gluten-free cracker? Preferably something non-celiacs will enjoy too.

Lots of non- gluten-free people serve these. They are much cheaper at SAMs Club or Costco. My husbands company serves them at functions.

Crunchmaster's Sea Salt crackers. (and there are other flavors, too!)

 

My aunt and 2 best  friends ( all are  WEs--wheat eaters) love love love them and eat them regularly 

after having them at my house.

 

Addy loves the Breton crackers, but she will tell you all about it shortly...... :D

Omg... they're just like regular, gluteny crackers. Either flavor is awesome, but right now the only flavor I can get locally is the herb ones. I have had a chance to try the flax ones though and they are equally awesome.

 

Great, now I have to open a new box because I finished one yesterday. I'm going to get so fat since they started making these. :ph34r: Also, L2 loves these also, so I'm not in bad company at all. B)  (And I think Karen probably snuck in because crackers are a very important topic, not to be trifled with so everyone rushed right over!)

I would eat them, too ....but I am trying to lose weight. :ph34r: me gots a wee bit chubby after diagnosis.

Indeed! This is a most important discussion! My gluten eating hub loved those plain Breton ones!

 

My husband keeps asking for a cracker if I eat them while he's home. I always act like I'm terribly put out when I give him one.

I second (third?) the Crunchmaster sea salt crackers. Even my fussy non-celiac kids like them.

I guess I could add that I also do like Crunchmaster crackers. They're good, they're just not my favorite.

Mary's Gone Crackers? Pretty good.

I love the Van's cheese cracker - tastes like goldfish!!!! Hubs and kid (ge's) eat them.

Crunch master Italian cheese is pretty good.

I like the Diamond Almond crackers - sea salt.

Found a "water cracker" at whole foods that was wonderfully flat and crunchy for cheeses. Of course, cant remember the name...

I really like the Diamond Nut Thins- Pecan crackers.  Really good with peanut butter.

Scharr.  Taste just like Ritz.  Only problem is that they crumble easily.  I also had a recipe to make crackers and they had a little grated onion in them.  Sorry, I don't think I have that cookbook any more  But they were really good!

Those Van's cheese thingers are very very bad (for thigh growth...that is! )

I inhaled an entire box one day and realized they are very dangerous to have around. :D

I know. The van's cheese crackers taste like goldfish and the gluten-free goldfish taste like Cheetos.

BRETON!!!! I am with Addy on this. All others I have tried taste plastic and artificial. Breton crackers are light and buttery and taste every bit as good as their counterparts. In fact, other than homemade, they are the only ones I will eat. GO, BRETON!

If you email Breton they'll tell you where you can buy them locally. They boxes aren't huge, there are only 720 calories if you inhale the whole box which totally leaves room for a whole other meal and maybe even gelato. Not that I have a box on my desk or anything. :ph34r:

BRETON!!!! I am with Addy on this. All others I have tried taste plastic and artificial. Breton crackers are light and buttery and taste every bit as good as their counterparts. In fact, other than homemade, they are the only ones I will eat. GO, BRETON!

 

I'd like to point out that I'm the one who is in the best company on this. I don't think anyone is going to dispute who has the best taste around here, and it's just chance that I happen to be on board with her on this one.  B)

      I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets...

About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values. Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. I use them as a gluten free substitute...

      I see it everyday on my feeds. They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts. I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field. Some days I would just like to scream. So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach...

Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver.After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
