Cherry and Apple...I had to stop buying them because I would just gobble them up like they were candies!

I like all the ones I've tried, but I had the Banana Cookie for the first time the other day--it was fantastic!

Cherry pie was the best one out of all the ones I tried. But then again I never tried the banana cookie. <_<

Hi

i was thinking of buying a box of them. do you think they have gluten in them that made you sick or something else in them?

thanks

Jess

I liked most of them, but I ate them so much I got quite tired of them!!! The only one I didn't care for at all was the one with ginger in it... icky poo

 Nini--I really liked the ginger ones!! And the banana cookie ones--but I found I react to them--but it's the dried fruit, not gluten. From a gluten standpoint, they are safe.

Hi jesscarmel,

Like Patti, I react to the dried fruit and the nuts in them. They are free of gluten so buy away a box :)

I had heard people rave and rave and rave about this cherry pie lara bar. I bought one. I don't get all the hype. I didn't think it had much flavor and I wasn't that impressed. Not to mention they are SO small! I would buy it if there wasn't anything else around, but it isn't something that I would keep on hand.

I like the apple lara bars.

I don't eat them for flavor, I eat them because they are gluten free and give me some energy (and fiber)

I haven't tried these flavors yet but I saw there are now Chocolate Coffe, Chocolate Mint and a third (can't remember that one) - they are ecalled Maya, but they are Lara Bars. The Chocolate Coffee one (in front of me as we speak) has: Organic Dates, Organic Hazelnuts, Organic Walnuts, Organic Cocoa, Organic Cacao Nibs, and Organic Coffee in it. I'd rip it open but I just had some Snappea Crisps and my stomach is unhappy - it looks like they have corn oil in them now and I don't tolerate corn... :( I'll let you know how this is when I try it!

I LOVE the Maya bars!!!!! My daughter, Chloe, who you occasionally see on this board, hates them. She tried the chocolate mint. She LOVES Lara bars though. At least I won't have to worry about the Maya bars disappearing until my gluten-free 18 year old gets back over here next week.

The Mayan Chocolate one is really good, I like the flavor combination of the chocolate and cinnamon.

My mom and dad love the cherry pie larabars. I like the apple pie ones better.

I just realized I didn't know what in the world I was talking about

I couldn't remember the name of the flavor of Lara Bar that has chocolate and cinnamon in it, I thought it was "Mayan" Chocolate so I thought that is what you were referring to Carla. I was at the store today and gave it another look, the flavor is called Cocoa Mole, or something like that, this is the one I love.

I saw the Maya chocolate bars there too, they are new to my store.

Are cocao nibs, in the Maya Bars, the same, or similar, to coffee beans? I'm confused about this.

I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you

Of course my son is on a 100% gluten free diet.  I wish his symptoms were not debilitating as there are right now.  He cannot work, even when a miniscule of cross contamination occurs.  It's not just GI distress, but intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.  It's literally neurological inflammation.  Not to be taken lightly here.  We have sought out many other possible ways to cope during this window of time (8 months!!!!)  without success.   AN-PEP does not help and seems like studies on this are not well researched.  So, we are trying this out because research shows some promising results.  And, all participants showed no cravings afterwards, no signs of addiction.  The patch is different than the oral route such as smoking, vaping, gum, pouch, etc.

Have you tried AN-PEP enzymes, for example, GlutenX (who is a sponsor here)? A lot of research has shown that it can break down small amounts of gluten in the stomach, before it reaches the intestines. It might be a better approach than risking nicotine addiction, and the questionable research around this. I also hope that he’s trying to be 100% Gluten-Free.

Hi all  I was diagnosed Coeliac a few years ago and follow a gluten free diet. The list of foods that I can eat without a problem grows shorter on a weekly basis. [I also have diabetes and asthma also].  BUT the reason I am posting this is because I seem to struggle with nausea quite a lot, which is really quite debilitating, and I was wondering if others suffer from nausea, even if following a gluten free diet.
