Wow! I don't remember ever seeing that on Sesame Street! Probably a wee bit after my time.. . . ... <_<

I was on the edge of my seat, waiting with bated breath to see if that llama was going to have an unexplained fractured back molar. . . . . ....

.....Phunny coincidence. .. ......

Gad. . . . . .. ...Am I Llama lady????

What are the odds of being able to combine a llama and a trip to the dentist in one video?????

I remembered it, and googled it. Was actually quite surprised to find it.

For some reason, I ADORED that clip on SS when I was younger. We used to sing the song all the time. I've always loved llamas (I have no idea why). Just do.

(I swear I am not the llama lady)

OK!!!!!.....................I've done some research.

The first sighting I can find of Llama Lady is during Emily's reign

I thought there was one before June 13, but couldn't find it.

I know LL appeared after I did, which was May 10, I believe.

Here are a couple of posts with vital info.......

Besides this, we know that LL loves Monty Python and Oprah, doesn't own a llama but would like to, and lives in a place in the US that has llamas everywhere......(once commented that he/she lives in Llama Land USA).

I did the grunge work, the rest of you can put the pieces togeher

Edit: Forgot one more thing. During one of LL's absences, he/she had been in New York.

I've got it! Llama Lady is this Australian TV personality named Megan......but I don't know her last name (yet). She has about 300 + videos on youtube under the name jewelchic, and she's a jewelry designer!

LLAMA LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <screaming hyperactively and raising hand frantically> I make jewelry also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <using semi-precious stones, pearls, and sterling wire and other krap>

will you be my phriend?????????????????????????????? but wait.....more importantly.......

WILL YOU CLAIM THE PSILLIES AS YOUR FRIENDS????????????????????

<do you think I"m scaring her?>

☻☻☻☻☻

Now . . . did you happen to remember this?? . . . or were you googling llamas and dentist and this pooped up??

what? you don't do that all the time?

<how DID she remember that? >

.....Phunny coincidence. .. ......

Gad. . . . . .. ...Am I Llama lady????

:unsure:are you? is EM the most wackl Llama Lady?

and............in the identity theft video, there's Van Gogh's Sunflowers above the fireplace...........is it real? Does Llama Lady own the original? ☼

maybe she was lying? throwing us off the scent?

her map DID have "Gnu Mexico" on it.......which was 10 miles away from an island surrounded by water.

wouldn't Gnu Mexico have the largest concentration of llamas in the US?

would it?

I have never really had to think this hard about llamas before.

I have always thought Weez was at least half Basenji - - silent, gorgeous, barkless (but not soundless) dog.

so today at the office this man came in and SWORE he thought she was his dog.................

"what kind of dog?" I asked...............

NO NO NO . . . I have decided it is NOT Jenny McCarthy but it is in fact, Jim Carrey pretending to BE Jenny McCarthy . . . he was Ace Ventura, Pet Detective, you know. I'm pretty sure that means he likes animals of all sorts (cats and llamas)!! Also, this would mean that he didn't watch any movies wif his husband!! (Once again, I'm ignoring the nonCeliac status and just going wif the gluten-free lifestyle . . . but that's my perogative  )

and Susie . . . yer Aussie lady has been Celiac for 12 years . . . I think it's someone with a relatively new diagnosis.

OK Sillies, get this . . . our family is yet again travelling. Leaving tomorrow and coming back on Saturday. I'm tired of it all!!! Whose ideas was this???!!! . . . Oh yeah . . . mine  Seemed like a good idea a couple of months ago.

Gooooood Morning, Llama-watchers!!

.......in the identity theft video, there's Van Gogh's Sunflowers above the fireplace...........is it real? Does Llama Lady own the original? ☼

No, she does not. . . . but this may be the MOST SIGNIFICANT clue yet - - subtle, but there.. . . . ..Van Gogh's Sunflowers is owned by The Yasuda Fire and Marine Insurance Company Ltd., out of Tokyo.

Llama Lady is David Suzuki.

Sounds like you've got it all pretty well figgered out, you late-nighters . .. . . my vote's on the Aussie lady - - think you're bang on, Soooozie.

Does anyone else remember this from Sesame Street? it was one of my childhood favorites...and now, oh so relevant.

THIS is the llama lady!

During the setup for the piece on Sesame Street they wanted to make sure the little girl and the llama had a good rapport, so for 1 month they lived together, slept together, had breakfast cereal together (which, because of the underlying Celiac led to gastric discomfort which created this whole love/pain association that took years of therapy to get through).

Then, after they'd done the dental piece, *poof* llama gone forever leaving an aching void which she knew could only be filled by another llama. The years of llamalessness have only increased the need for dromedary companionship and so now she needs, not just one llama, but a whole herd to feel whole again.

We have to help her! If she doesn't get llamas soon I'm sure this deep rooted need will progress to alpacas and full grown camels! Where will she ever find an apartment that'll accept camels??

Psillies! Unite and psave this poor psoul!!

Jess, I totally agree with this line of thinking. . . . . that Sesame Street clip is, what, 25 years old? That would but her mid-thirties .. . . .about the age of Megan Aussielady. . .....

Actually, we never heard that young girl talk, nor were we given any real visual evidence as to where this piece of film was made. . . . ...could very well be Australian . . .. ....

A llamalessness  existence. . . . .

Try adding some Thiamine Hydrochloride (thiamine HCl) and see if there's any difference.  Thiamine HCl uses special thiamine transporters to get inside cells.  I take it myself.   Tryptophan will help heal the intestines.  Tryptophan is that amino acid in turkey that makes you sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner.  I take mine with magnesium before bedtime.

I live in the upper mid-west and was just diagnosed with marsh 3c celiac less than a month ago.  As a 51 year old male, I now take a couple of different gluten free vitamins.  I have not noticed any reaction to either of these items.  Both were purchased from Amazon. 1.  Nature Made Multivitamin For Him with No Iron 2.  Gade Nutrition Organic Quercetin with Bromelain Vitamin C and Zinc Between those two, I am ingesting 2000 IU of vitamin D per day. Best of luck, Known1

I am doing a gluten challenge right now and I bought vital wheat gluten so I can know exactly how much gluten I am getting. One tablespoon is 7g so 1½ tablespoons of Vital Wheat Gluten per day will get you to 10g You could add it to bean burgers as a binder or add to hot chocolate or apple sauce and stir.

Raising you vitamin D will increase absorption of calcium automatically without supplementation of calcium.  A high PTH can be caused by low D causing poor calcium absorption; not insuffient calcium intake.  With low D your body is not absorbing calcium from your food so it steals it from your bones.  Heart has priority over bone. I've been taking 10,000 IU D3 a day since 2015.  My doctor says to continue. To fix my lactose intolerance, lots of lactobacillus from yogurts, and brine fermented pickles and saurkraut and olives.  We lose much of our ability to make lactase endogenosly with maturity but a healthy colony of lactobacillus in our gut excretes lactase in exchange for room and board. The milk protein in grass fed milk does not bother me. It tastes like the milk I grew up on.  If I drink commercial milk I get heartburn at night. Some experts estimate that 90% of us do not eat Adequite Intake of choline.  Beef and eggs are the principle source. Iodine deficiency is a growing concern.  I take 600 mcg a day of Liquid Iodine.  It and NAC have accelerated my healing all over.  Virtually blind in my right eye after starting antihypertensive medication and vision is slowly coming back.  I had to cut out starches because they drove my glucose up into the 200+ range.  I replaced them with Red Bull for the glucose intake with the vitamins, minerals and Taurine needed to process through the mitochodria Krebs Cycle to create ATP.  Went from A1c 13 down to 7.9.  Work in progress. Also take B1,B2,B3,B5,B6. Liquid Iodine, Phosphatidyl Choline, Q10, Selenium, D and DHEA.     Choline supplemented as phosphatidylcholine decreases fasting and postmethionine-loading plasma homocysteine concentrations in healthy men +

@catnapt, Wheat germ has very little gluten in it.  Gluten is  the carbohydrate storage protein, what the flour is made from, the fluffy part.  Just like with beans, there's the baby plant that will germinate  ("germ"-inate) if sprouted, and the bean part is the carbohydrate storage protein.   Wheat germ is the baby plant inside a kernel of wheat, and bran is the protective covering of the kernel.   Little to no gluten there.   Large amounts of lectins are in wheat germ and can cause digestive upsets, but not enough Gluten to provoke antibody production in the small intestines. Luckily you still have time to do a proper gluten challenge (10 grams of gluten per day for a minimum of two weeks) before your next appointment when you can be retested.
