It's a Cotonjolie--I've done massive amounts of research and this one seems to be the best fit for us. I still really want a rescue/shelter pup though, so we'll see. These little guys are a bit spendy

AHA!!

Copy Image copies the entire actual pic (a big thing).

Copy Image Location (or url or .. .. .etc) copies just the directions to get to the pic (a small thing).

Kinda like the difference betw an actual house & just a post-it w/ the address of the house on it.

;)

Wasn't it Moz's Firefox that uses Copy Image Location terminology?

Good luck ytrewq-face!

I paint a bad picture but he really is a loverly man :P

This is the place to paint cuz loverly or not, we're gonna make fun of him. If he doesn't like it he can join up and make fun of us right back. :P :P

Ok, so this is how I normally sit in chairs (without the hand thing)istockphoto_6297767-girl-doing-yoga-lotus-position.webp

With my left leg on top. Turns out that my right leg is tightened up because it doesn't get the stretch and it's throwing my whole body out of whack so I'm trying to sit with my right leg on top. It's quite a bit stiffer so I've got my right foot tucked into the arm of the chair to try to keep it on top. Very difficult.

My gramms sits in her chair all morning with her right ankle tucked under her left leg. Now her right ankle is about half the size as her left ankle

Sounds very like your right hip-flexor is too tight. When this little muscle doesn't get lengthened, it can wreak havoc on one's entire core. Ya need to stretch that baby out, Jyessss, and often.

Here is the best stretch for tight hip flexors. It can be quite an aggressive stance, so do not lean back too much until you have stretched it regularly for a while:

Your body will look JUST like hers after about a week...honest....

Knees can't really take being knelt on....

I usually sit in a chair and bring my ankle to my forehead, or put my knee and ankle up on a table and lean forward.

I am so lost and all alone. I'm glad Al is OK. Other than that, I have told you that I am computer illigitimate And, I have a pee-brain, which means that all you url's and pbc's have only severally depressed me. I want to be as brilliant as the rest of you, but am not. I so want hurling pumkins, but am clueless.

I went to the Doc yesterday. Me BP was 140/90. My FBS was 38 one day last week. All I wanted was new scripts- 90 days instead of 30 days to save some $$. She rote me script for 1/2 the BP meds and upped my BS meds. That could actually kill me. She's fired!

Can I be funny tonight? No. But, I actually like this line:

OK, one more

Right click over the picture, click copy, paste it into your reply making sure the site ends in jpg, gif, etc (for pics)--if it doesn't, erase everything after the "jpg" "gif" etc, also make sure the website is only listed once, for some reason sometimes it is duplicated- now hit "preview post" does it show up? If not, try typing at the end--preview post again, did it work this time? I've had to fiddle with websites a bunch just to make one post. I randomly found the little blue barfer and it worked the first time-isn't he cute :P

Your suspicion is almost certainly correct, and you are wise to be cautious. Draft cider is a very common and often overlooked source of cross-contact because the same tap lines are frequently used for both beer and cider; unless a bar has a dedicated line for gluten-free beverages, which is rare, the cider will run through tubing that has previously contained gluten-containing beer, contaminating your drink. The fact that you didn't react at a clean brewery suggests they may have had more meticulous practices or separate lines, but this is the exception, not the rule. Many in the community have had identical experiences, leading them to strictly avoid draft cider and opt for bottled or canned versions, which are poured directly from their sealed container and bypass the contaminated tap system entirely. Switching to bottles or cans is the safest strategy, and your plan to do so is a smart move to protect your health. PS - here are some articles on the topic:

Your post really highlights the financial and emotional struggle so many families face. You are not alone in feeling frustrated by the high cost of gluten-free specialty items and the frustrating waste when your daughter can't tolerate them. A great place to start is by focusing on naturally gluten-free whole foods that are often more affordable and less processed, like rice, potatoes, beans, lentils, corn, eggs, and frozen fruits and vegetables—these are nutritional powerhouses that can form the basis of her meals. For the specialty items like bread and pasta, see if your local stores carry smaller, single-serving packages or allow returns if a product causes a reaction, as some companies understand this challenge. Regarding vitamins, that is an excellent next step; please ask her doctor to prescribe a high-quality gluten-free multivitamin, as insurance will often cover prescribed vitamins, making them much more affordable. Finally, connecting with a local celiac support group online can be a treasure trove of location-specific advice for finding the best and most affordable products in your area, saving you both time and money on the trial-and-error process.
    • Scott Adams
Welcome to the forum--and you are absolutely not alone in your experience with a non-celiac gluten sensitivity that presents with severe constipation and profound inflammatory consequences. While the more commonly discussed symptoms are diarrhea-centric, your reaction is a valid and documented, though less common, manifestation. It is completely understandable to feel isolated, especially after moving to an area with less familiarity with this specific presentation, but your vigilance in protecting your remaining colon is not just justified, it is critically important. Your history of autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's) further supports the likelihood of your body mounting a significant inflammatory response to gluten. Many in this community share similar frustrations with a skeptical medical community and the social challenges of maintaining a strict diet, so please know you have found a place where your condition is believed and understood. Staying gluten-free to prevent further damage is the safest path for your health, and we are here to support you in that crusade.

I've never had an issue this side of the pond. If I'm out I drink Bulmers Cider. Sometimes draft and sometimes bottled. The draft cider lines are for Cider only.
    • Rejoicephd
Hi everyone do you know whether when you get a draft cider if there is a chance that it runs through the same tubing as a beer did sometime prior?  the reason I’m asking is that I’m trying to eliminate a source of hidden gluten that I think hits me about once a month. And I have a suspicion it might be cider from the draft at certain bars. When I am out, if I decide to drink, I usually order a cider brand that I know is gluten free.    what I’ve noticed is that a couple times when I got a draft cider, I got symptoms of being  glutened that night and the day after. This doesn’t seem to happen with all times I drink cider. I had a draft at a very clean brewery and I didn’t react from that, which is what made me start to wonder. Does anyone know if this is a possible source of getting glutened? I am like 99% sure that this is the cause and I think I’ll switch to bottle/can only from here on out, but would be interested if others experienced the same thing (or work in a bar and know how this works). Thanks!
