Going back to read Em's link....I do know Armour is NOT licensed in the UK (so NHS docs cannot prescribe)

Hmmm....dunno if the Commonwealth Canada shares in this lack of licensing for Armour....must check......

Ha! Wiki tells me that we have a dessicated thyroid porcine powder med available....it is not Armour. It is called.. . . .......are you ready?. . . . ......

Thyroid.

How very Canadian. It has not been named Pork-thy, or Robert, or Earl. . .........

Lord, no. Too creative, too outside the box.....may offend. . . .......play it safe.

Call the drug THYROID>

Too Cute!!!!! What kind of pooch is that??

It's a Cotonjolie--I've done massive amounts of research and this one seems to be the best fit for us. I still really want a rescue/shelter pup though, so we'll see. These little guys are a bit spendy

JoDog

Is that like-it's not my dog it's jo-dog? Like what do you call cheese that's not yours?? Nacho-cheese :lol::lol:

(there were 2 http://'s)

AHA!!

Copy Image copies the entire actual pic (a big thing).

Copy Image Location (or url or .. .. .etc) copies just the directions to get to the pic (a small thing).

Kinda like the difference betw an actual house & just a post-it w/ the address of the house on it.

;)

Wasn't it Moz's Firefox that uses Copy Image Location terminology?

<head hits keyboard>

Good luck ytrewq-face!

I paint a bad picture but he really is a loverly man :P

This is the place to paint cuz loverly or not, we're gonna make fun of him. If he doesn't like it he can join up and make fun of us right back. :P :P

Ok, so this is how I normally sit in chairs (without the hand thing)istockphoto_6297767-girl-doing-yoga-lotus-position.webp

With my left leg on top. Turns out that my right leg is tightened up because it doesn't get the stretch and it's throwing my whole body out of whack so I'm trying to sit with my right leg on top. It's quite a bit stiffer so I've got my right foot tucked into the arm of the chair to try to keep it on top. Very difficult.

My gramms sits in her chair all morning with her right ankle tucked under her left leg. Now her right ankle is about half the size as her left ankle

Ra-shyellle! My good friend has a coton -- he is a beautiful little dog -- smart, obedient, loves her 11 year-old boy.....and no hair coming off in clumps. :)

Sounds very like your right hip-flexor is too tight. When this little muscle doesn't get lengthened, it can wreak havoc on one's entire core. Ya need to stretch that baby out, Jyessss, and often.

Here is the best stretch for tight hip flexors. It can be quite an aggressive stance, so do not lean back too much until you have stretched it regularly for a while:

Your body will look JUST like hers after about a week...honest....

Knees can't really take being knelt on....

I usually sit in a chair and bring my ankle to my forehead, or put my knee and ankle up on a table and lean forward.

I have him already pick'd out ;)

I am so lost and all alone. I'm glad Al is OK. Other than that, I have told you that I am computer illigitimate And, I have a pee-brain, which means that all you url's and pbc's have only severally depressed me. I want to be as brilliant as the rest of you, but am not. I so want hurling pumkins, but am clueless.

I went to the Doc yesterday. Me BP was 140/90. My FBS was 38 one day last week. All I wanted was new scripts- 90 days instead of 30 days to save some $$. She rote me script for 1/2 the BP meds and upped my BS meds. That could actually kill me. She's fired!

Can I be funny tonight? No. But, I actually like this line:

It has hard sounds with truth. I like hard sounds with truth. All I got.

Must quicky vent about the loverly hubby-been trying to get him to work out, eat better and lose some weight for YEARS, I mean, if I can lose 100# in 2 years, he can certainly do that as well (probably needed to lose 70-80...) Anywho, he would say I was crazy for eating like a rabbit and I was crazy to like running, weeellllll, August 2nd he decides he's going to take up running and eat better to try to lose some weight (cuz a guy at work told him he should <_< ). 1.5 months later and the guy has lost 50# (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and is trail running 10 miles tomorrow-cuz it sounded like fun <_<<_< OK, marathon training for me--took 4 months before I could run 10 miles. WTF?? Really happy for him and proud of him and all, but can't help but feel a little jealous. Plus, with all this talk of moving, I've been stress eating and am up 5 flippin pounds-GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

OK, off to wash off the day ;):D

OK, one more

Right click over the picture, click copy, paste it into your reply making sure the site ends in jpg, gif, etc (for pics)--if it doesn't, erase everything after the "jpg" "gif" etc, also make sure the website is only listed once, for some reason sometimes it is duplicated- now hit "preview post" does it show up? If not, try typing at the end--preview post again, did it work this time? I've had to fiddle with websites a bunch just to make one post. I randomly found the little blue barfer and it worked the first time-isn't he cute :P

Thank you @knitty kitty I really appreciate that suggestion as a way to reset and heal my gut - i will look into it !!
    • Ginger38
I also had high eosinophils which I’ve never had before either - could that be due to gluten consumption?
    • knitty kitty
You're welcome! Be sure the patient eats at least ten grams of gluten per day for a minimum of two weeks prior to repeating antibody testing.   Some people unconsciously reduce the amount of gluten in their diet because the feel unwell.  Three grams of gluten per day is sufficient to produce symptoms.  Only at ten grams or more is the immune system provoked to raise the antibody production high enough so that the antibodies leave the digestive tract and enter the blood stream where they can be measured.   Read the comments below the article...

Thanks for your response and thoughts. Total IgA is normal. HLA DQ2/DQ8 came as heterozygous and the interpretation of the lab that the risk of coeliac disease is mild to moderate. Thyroid function test is normal. I agree that the best way is to repeat tTG antibodies in 6 months time as the result was not massively high.
    • knitty kitty
Welcome to the forum, @Wamedh Taj-Aldeen, How is the patient's thyroid?   You could check for thiamine deficiency which can cause the thyroid to either become hyper or hypo.  TTg IgA can be high in both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.  tTg IgA can also be high if patient is taking medications to stimulate the thyroid as in hypothyroidism.   Thanks for visiting!  Keep us posted!
