Last night I came home and decorated 60 cupcakes and a 4 tiered round, so that kept me away from DH last night, this morning I said the magic words "Amelia is having her 2nd birthday party today, you want to go with me and the kids to the Children's Museum all day?" As expected, I got a big fat "NO!" One day of this weekend down, one more to go :P

Him:"Watcha doin?"........"ummm...Dishes." :blink:.....

Yeah, like maybe he should try it sometime!!! :lol:

Things they don't recognize:

Them-"Watcha doin?"

Us-"Laundry.......Dishes.......Vaccuming......Dusting........Cleaning toilets.......Mopping..........Washing windows........Cooking.......Bathing your children" <_<

I do so hope this is because my posts cause such pondering, such conversation-inspiring elements, that without them -- well, no one has much to say.. . ... <_<<_<

Sophie is, right now, playing for the gold medal. Her team has won every game they've played in the tourney -- 6 in all, and this is the final matchup, between Nepean and Kingston. I was there for two games yesterday and one today, and drove home mid-afternoon and DH headed down as I was coming home. In fact, we passed each other on the highway. He called me on my cell and said, "okay.... .....I'm about thirty kilometres from the highway 138 turn-off....how far have you come?"

And I replied, "I am quite close to the 417........we're about to meet in two minutes!"

He said, "See you in a bit. You could flash me as I go by"... . ..... :huh:

As I careully watched the approaching cars over the next few hundred metres (because I certainly wanted to target the right one), I suddenly saw him coming over the next embankment. I waited....waited.....honked as we were about to pass one another.... . . . .and just stuck my tongue out at him

Too many truckers in front of, beside and behind me. :lol:

Wildcats get silver! They just couldn't generate a tie, and lost 2-1.

Apparently, Sophie pulled her groin.

Sounds so masculine, doesn't it? :huh: ........ .. ..Though I guess we have groins, too.

It is actually an awful word - - GROIN. Very nasal and harsh..... . .. ..must look awful when spoken in front of that mirror..... . .....

Honest to gawd, Em--we were walking into Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday and I mentioned to Mark that I hadn't heard how Sophie did :lol: Silver is fantastic!! Congrats to her and the team :D

Ouch on the groin pull :( Hope she feels better soon!

Deficiency symptoms of B vitamins resemble gastrointestinal symptoms when after eating gluten.  Gastrointestinal Beriberi is a form of Thiamine deficiency.   Do talk to your doctors about supplementing with essential nutrients while on the gluten free diet, especially if you're consuming processed foods.

Talk to your doctor or dietician about taking vitamin and mineral supplements while healing.  The gluten free diet can be low in nutrients, especially if you eat gluten free facsimile processed foods.  Gluten containing breads have vitamins added to them to replace those lost in processing.  Gluten free facsimile foods usually are not enriched nor fortified with vitamins.   Taking a B Complex, Benfotiamine, Vitamin D, and magnesium help the digestive tract heal, lowers histamine, and regulates the immune system.
