The Ronco Spray on Hair!!!!I forgot all about that.

Hey, remember the Flow-be? You could give yourself that flat top haircut, and all the excess hair would be sucked up into your vaccum cleaner. All in one easy step! :D

But wouldn't a guy who's losing hair worry that more than the cut hair would be sucked into the vacuum cleaner!!??

Which do women prefer:

Balding man

Bald man

Comb over (regular, not TheDonald)

Hair is good

Balding is good

Bald is good

Comb over -very very bad!!

Why would a man want to do that?!

I mean it's not as if you can't tell he's going bald.

Be bald and be proud I say!!!

For the record I've got plenty of hair. It's not nearly as nice as Steve's, but there is a lot of it, it's thick and it's REAL!

That Seinfeld epi. comes to mind - the one with Teri Hatcher "they're real and they're SPECTACULAR" :P

LMAO !!LOL! Richard you are so funny!!

With 2 coeliacs in my house (one of them still on gluten for biopsy) you seriously do not want to take your chances doing that in my house!!!!

I concur ! How can we assess whether Richard is follicularily ( is that a word? ) challenged unless we can see him.

Richard-are you scared you wouldn't match up to Steve's lustrous locks?

Did you read the text below it? It's real use is as an emergency breathing device for hi-rise building fires. Hmmm, I think I would take my chances with the fire escape before inhaling sewer gas!

I still get surprised when I see pictures of myself .... I don't think I look as skinny as I do in pics ... but I know I do. It's really funny because we lived here three years ago, and when we moved back, I thought it looked like everyone gained about 15 pounds ... but it was me who LOST weight!!

Funny--Wilson

I have a picture that was taken 5 months pre Dx. My face was ghostly white, puffy and my eyes didn't look open all the way. Truly scary :o

I had always been skinny and I worked as a land surveyor, so I was on my feet all day - great exercise tromping through the woods - so i never thought 2x about it. I wasn't really sick!

Scary is right!

Thank you, a little expensive but glad to have this source.

@knitty kitty  Thank you very much for the advice. I did the exam this morning, my doctor actually suggested me to take something called "Celiac duo test" in which I first do the genetic test and if it's positive, then I'll have to do the antigen blood test. I have to attend 1 month until my results are ready, so I have some weeks to increase the amount of gluten I eat daily. It will be hard because my health is not the best right now, but I also did a blood test to cheek my nutritional deficiencies. The results will arrive on Tuesday, so I can ask my doctor what should I do to control my symptoms and blood levels during this month. For now I'm resting and paying attention to what I eat— at least I don’t look like a vampire who just woke up, like I did yesterday. I'm still scared because is the first time I've felt this sick, but this is the right moment to turn things around for the better.  I realized that if I eat gluten at lunch I cannot finish the day properly, I become severely tired and sometimes my stomach hurts a lot - let's not talk about the bloating that starts later. Do you think is it ok to eat gluten just in the morning, like some cookies and slices of bread for breakfast?

I suffer from Dermatitis Herpetiformis, too.  Like @Rogol72, I had to cut out all gluten-free processed foods, dairy, oats, and eggs before my skin cleared up.  I followed the Autoimmune Protocol Diet. I also supplement with the eight essential B vitamins.  (Meat and liver are great sources of B vitamins.)  Low levels of certain B vitamins ( B12, Thiamine, Pyridoxine, and Niacin) can affect the nerves, resulting in itching and tingling.  Niacin especially helps with the itching and healing the blisters.  Tallow Balm helps with the healing, too.  Zinc and Vitamin A also help with skin health.   I've gotten such good results with Niacin and the other vitamins mentioned that I've never had to go on Dapsone.

I think Tierra Farms is a gluten free facility, at least that is what it says on the bag of walnuts that I have.

All of a sudden I can't get any gluten-free nuts. There are only 2 nuts available that I can find on the market that are gluten-free. One is Mauna loa brand macadamia nuts, the other is Wonderful pistachios. Other than that all types of nuts that are plain nuts, roasted or raw are no longer gluten-free and are processed and plants that also process wheat.  Has anyone found a source for Pecans, almonds peanuts, walnuts, Pine nuts, etc that is gluten-free?
