It's $25,000 to buy just a parking spot, so I guess if you have an RV, you'd be golden.

Lest you all think I'm way overpaid, I can tell you that I live in the poor part of the island, with the 800 sq foot houses and older mobile homes. And none of us are selling 'cause we could never afford to buy anything else in the area.

In the early 90's, I visited Seattle for the first time, and took the fairy one day to Bainbridge and beyond (was in LOVE w/ Bremerton as I am Norwegian).

The moment I drove onto Bainbridge, I burst into tears. It was the oddest thing....but I felt like I had come......home. So, I drove back every day.....went to the school district, and actually (when back home) went through the whole process of applying for a couple of teaching jobs there. Mygawd - the starting pay was outrageously low - state of WAshington started, at that time, at around 16K (I did not care - just had to be there).

Anywho - they never even called me, of course......and here I am...........

but - I think it's one of my most favorite places I've ever been in the US.......I'm supposed to be living there........how in hell will I get there?

I think since the Winter Games have that skiing/shooting biathlon, the Summer Games should have Horseback Archery!

(No dismount to shoot tho . ..full gallop, like the movies )
