Some is and some isn't. Barley malt (gluten) is used as a sweetener or flavor in some candies and some chocolate. Always read the ingredient list carefully for possible malt.

Here is a list you can print out for Hershey's.

Enjoy Life chocolate chips are made in a dedicated facility, and are nearly as neutral as one can get for the major allergens.

They also can be cleverly melted in the microwave, spread on rice cakes, or on other gluten free things like biscotti or pancakes, and mixed with other gluten free things like nuts, coconut, etc. For example, say you feel sorry for yourself. You make a gluten free pancake, and then top it with sliced bananas and chocolate chips and then a scoop of gluten free sweetened yogurt or ice cream. Very amazing.

There is a ton of gluten free candy. But like he said, watch for malt flavoring. It knocks out a few. Also, watch out for the minis or different shapes. For example, Butterfingers are gluten free but the other day my daughter got the snack pack and they were not. I think Reeces are but the odd shapes may not be. (Like Christmas trees, etc)

Someone told me that we'd all lose weight when we went gluten free. Uh...no. We still have cheetos, blue doritos, reeces, snickers, most ice-cream....life isn't so bad after all. : )

Some Tostito's are gluten free --I did not check packaging on all Tostito's, but the bite size 'rounds' and 'scoops' state gluten free on the package. I have had no adverse symptoms from eating them.

Thank God for Hershey's!!

The mini Reeses peanut butter cups contain gluten. So watch out for those (the regular size does not). My new favorite ice cream is moose tracks. :D

Googles, the Hershey's site says all the Reese's PB cups are gluten free except the seasonal shaped items.

That is good to know. The last time I checked the minis included gluten. Another peanut butter treat I can eat.

I read on there that they say the list is not yet complete so I'm figuring they are trying to get things in line with gluten-free. YAY!!!!!!

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
