  1. I like to peel and dice a whole bag of potatoes and then I have them ready for homefries all week. But for when I have absolutely nothing planned- depends how much time I have. If I'm short on time it's sunnyside eggs with toast, if I have more time probably pasta with meat sauce or chicken sausage.
  2. Does Rob have a brother?
  3. The Bob's All-Purpose tastes foul to me. The bean flour they use is stone-ground, which means it gets heated up in the milling process, which is why it goes rancid and tastes nasty. At least, that's how it was explained to me. I would imagine a blade-milled bean flour would be much more palatable. I recommend against it. If you're looking for an all-purpose...
  4. At least your neighbors would get some entertainment out of that....
  5. Pattei, I had a friend who dressed in sweats she had painted spots all over, did pigtails, painted her nose black with whiskers, and stuck a tail on her butt. She was a dalmation. Looked pretty darn comfy! I also have a guy friend who has long hair and bears a pretty close resemblance to Ron Jeremy, so every year he just wears a hawaiian shirt and an ID tag...
  6. Sometimes chicken just doesn't change color when it cooks, drives me bonkers too. When I overdo my chicken, I make barbecue sauce and shred the chicken. Turns into a pulled-chicken thing, like pulled pork. Good for sammiches!
  7. Down, girl.
  8. I had to go without tomatos for a year, and was then able to successfully reintroduce them. It does happen. Keep in mind that it may take a long time, and may not happen at all, too. It definitely sounds like you're having a problem with the lentils, and a doublecheck on all your supplements and personal care products are in order. Also, don't kiss the...
  9. Here's a fancy chair using those big bouncy balls people work out with that I was talking about- sorry for the delayed response. Open Original Shared Link
  10. It's a condition....
  11. I have some news I feel I need to share with you psillies. Most of you are aware that I have been in a long term relationship with the same man for the past six years. Without getting into too many details here on the board, I will tell you that about a month ago I decided to break up with him, and he subsequently committed suicide. While I very much...
  12. What do you put eggs benedict on top of? Veggie hash, or a purchased or homemade english muffin?
  13. Hair analysis can diagnose drug use!!!
  14. I feel your pain. I would DEARLY love to have cats, but am dangerously allergic. Le sigh... Will be getting a hypo-allergenic dog in the relatively near future though, so I'm really looking forward to that.
  15. I cram olive oil potato chips from Trader Joe's in my face when I'm unhappy. Keeps me from eating sugar.....
  16. "Blow the grounsils" sounds pretty literal to me!
  17. I take PB8, a refrigerated probiotic thats veggie caps, it says capsul- cellulose, water, silica. Dunno if that's ok for corn, as i have not had to avoid corn, but this probiotic works very well on me.
  18. Hmmm, perhaps a yeast overgrowth/dysbiosis that the rice exacerbates (starchy carb) and the yogurt makes you feel better by killing the bad guys? I say find a probiotic you can take, because it's clearly beneficial for you.
  19. Laser tag. Weeds out the fussy girls, too!
  20. Probably another reason I love Watchers so much, I'm a big re-reader. I never get tired of Einstein. Phantoms, on the other hand? Only read it once- no interest in revisiting the characters. I also love Odd Thomas, and the Frankenstein books.
  21. Ah, see, suspense is not a selling point with me in a novel. If I pretty much know what's going to happen, but I desperately want to find out anyway, THAT'S a good book.
  22. I just wanted to say I had to give up tomato for a year, the stress in my life made an acidic food too much for me, so I totally feel you. I LOVE tomato anything. Best I came up with was to put white sauces on pasta instead of red. I mostly just whined to myself for that year. And ate a lot of pesto....
  23. Gluten is a she, isn't it? Underhanded, shows up with no warning, COMPLETELY dangerous on the road!
