  1. Here is info from their site, their product is naturally gluten-free: https://www.mccormick.com/grill-mates/flavors/seasoning-blends/grill-mates-montreal-steak-seasoning
  2. Just FYI this article only mentions two of their nuts, so we have no idea about that product. Of course this article does not mean that ALL Planters products are safe, so beware!
  3. Your story sounds like mine, and at the time of my diagnosis I could also not have corn, tomatoes, dairy, chicken eggs, etc., and had several setbacks during the first couple of years on a gluten-free diet, most involving eating out, which I love to do, and I was living in San Francisco at the time, which has a million great restaurants. One thing for...
  4. Another testing protocol, like the blood tests for celiac disease, that many doctors, unfortunately, don't seem to know about. I should probably get my doctor to retest me and follow the protocol, as last time I was taking my full regimen up to the test.
  5. You may be interested in looking at some of the research summaries we've done on celiac disease and thyroid issues, including Hashimoto's disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
  6. Some people have reported that good old Ben-Gay cream helps with a DH rash.
  7. I've not heard of this before, and my doctor never mentioned it when I last had certain levels checked. Where did you get this info?
  8. To get a blood test for celiac disease you would need to eat at least 2 slices of wheat bread's worth of gluten daily for 6-8 weeks, and at least 2 weeks before an endoscopy.
  9. If I read this correctly it looks like a negative blood test for celiac disease.
  10. It's hard to tell...do you mean you have gluten-free chicken nuggets, or that you touched regular chicken nuggets and go ink on your hands? I could not tell.
  11. Happy New Year! Wohooo!! 😉
  12. Even certified products can test positive...evidently certified oats too:
  13. Given all of the constraints, is it possible for you to just make your own electrolyte formula?
  14. This and the comments may be helpful:
  15. At the time of my diagnosis I also have blood in my stool, lost weight, along with many other issues. Hopefully you have a good understanding of how to be 100% gluten-free:
  16. Thanks for sharing this. I find it interesting that they don't discuss the biggest gluten-free oat manufacturer in the world, which is General Mills.
  17. Here are some more brands of GF broth:
  18. You would scroll down to "Ingredients & Appearance" and open that and look at the active and inactive ingredients, for example: https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=c88f33ed-6dfb-4c5e-bc01-d8e36dd97299 The gluten-containing ingredients are almost always listed in the inactive ingredients.
  19. It sounds like you may have an additional food intolerance and may need to keep a food diary. Milk/dairy, oats (even GF oats), soy, corn, chicken eggs, etc., are the common ones. If you have an additional issue it may be temporary and go away after your gut heals, but not always.
  20. Did you get a blood panel done for celiac disease? If not, this would be your first step:
  21. If I were you I'd request the blood panel for celiac disease while you're waiting, as this would likely be needed anyway to make a diagnosis, and is usually done before an endoscopy for celiac disease. Here is more info:
  22. Is your diet 100% gluten-free? Do you eat in restaurants?
  23. Although there are many reported symptoms of celiac disease, getting cold easily would not be a common one, however, because celiac disease causes many vitamin and mineral deficiencies it still could be related. Are you supplementing with a good multi-vitamin/mineral complex?
  24. You can search this site for many meds, especially prescription ones: https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/ For the liquid version I see no gluten ingredients: https://www.dulcolax.com/en-us/products/fast-relief/liquid-laxative
