  2. I was looking at that site last night. I made Chili Chex, making it df. I used Fritos and Corn Chex, chili powder and garlic powder plus the oil. Turned out yummy. It would be good on top of chili.

  11. Yes and Walmart has some corn pasta, I found it with the gluten pasta. There is tons of info on here if you google it. I never rinse the lasagna pasta though (I don't know why not) You rinse off the "slime"
  12. Erin, We switched to white corn tortillas, you can get a huge stack pretty cheap. No flour pb cookies are so easy to make too!
  13. I get it at our co-op b/c its cheaper than at W-mart. We don't have W-foods/Traders. W-mart has a limited selection. Be sure to rinse it after its done boiling.

Speaking about birthdays...my dd's 21st is this week and I am making her this cake: Open Original Shared Link and decided to make it just like the pic, double the recipe for a layer cake and use a 7 minute frosting.   17. I don't know if it will work for bread but nut flour is a sub for milk powder in some recipes, you can grind your own in a blender or coffee grinder. I grind slivered and sliced almonds in a coffee grinder when I only need a little.

My recipe I got from c. d. kitchen but I used fresh garden toms in place of the tom sauce. 1/2 onion, minced 1 or more garlic cloves, minced (more) 2 T. olive oil 1 16 oz. tom sauce 1 6 oz. tom paste 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt (used garlic salt) Saute onion and garlic in oil, add the rest and simmer about 15 minutes...

  21. Its an original Tollhouse cookie pic my dd helped me find. I have a great recipe but I don't take the time to perfectly position every chip and nut on top of each cookie like they do!

  24. I went to their site to read the ingredients on the box. Xanthan gum is not listed...did you add any to your recipe? Xanthan gum is the sticky stuff to replace the "glue" in gluten...is the way I describe it I wonder how many flops Betty Crocker had??
