    Where do you camp at? There are a bunch of camps up the hill from our farm that my grandparents sold years ago. They are on Rt 337 about 5 miles from town. Heck, my dad knows so many of the people that own the camps. There are several people he knows from the Pittsburg area.

    The lara bars are alright at best for a quick snack or something to stash in the car for an emergency. I like the Kind Bars and to me they taste great.     I have noticed on their site if you click on ingredients it will say something to the effect like "does not contain gluten ingredients" I am going to assume that if that statement (or however it is worded)is not on there then it is not gluten free.     I too tried the same brand of gluten free oats. I made apple spice cookies with it in. They tasted sooooo good but within a 1/2 hour I had really sour burps and a lot of gas/bloating.     Getting the thyroid checked is a good idea. You need them to run a TSH, T3, T4, free T3, free T4, and tests for thyroid antibodies.     I lost 10 lb before my endoscopy (about 1 month) but I think I was worring about it. That said I was overweight before diagnosis, then lost that 10 lb, and after going gluten free have gained it back and a few more.

    My doctor said that my small bowel didn't look too bad only minor changes and he did not think the biopsy would be positive. Well when they called with the results it was positive.     Still tired of Doctors: WOW! What a lot of good information and a lot to think about. I have been complaining that none of the surgeons/urologists (we are on #5) have ordered any kind of diagnostic imaging tests or blood work for him.
