  2. Lol...it is 80 here...so I'm on the patio to escape the hot house and just lit 4 citronella candles to surround me in case those pesky mosquitos are hatching nearby! Actually about 70 out here - inside still 80ish.

  5. Agreed. Boston Strong. We stand right there with you - I recorded the service this morning for the men to view during dinner -- hmm -- can I make it through this time with a smile instead of tears -- gonna give it a shot
  6. Off to load Jimmy Buffet up -- ok I'm back and dancing to "Cheeseburger in Paradise" -- it is going to be a great night. Plans for Mom - done. Purchased new linen and such for her new room - done. Music on the - well it's not a stereo -- it's a lampshade dealio with ipod connected. Wine - to be poured as soon as I hit "post". Dinner is pork chops...

  9. Welcome Ross! With a tTG that high I'd be pretty darn confident -- and it may be tough to keep eating gluten for six months when you know you are likely causing damage to your small intestine. I'd suggest removing all gluten with your wife -- often those without obvious symptoms become more sensitive after removing gluten -- in the coming months you...
  10. I've used cauliflower -- for pizza crust -- to add some substance to my paleo apple bread and to make "rice" and most often cauli-fried rice!!! A few years ago I bough cauliflower once in a blue moon -- now there are a couple heads in my basket each week - great stuff - just not a fan of it plain.
  11. Happy Belated First Birthday Colleen I'm too stubborn for the stinking chair -- at least I was at age 45 and 47 -- might be fun in a few years -- we can race them to the dinning/party room for L2T's scrumptious dinners
  12. Love Stinks -- J. Geils Band
  13. I'm with Gemini on this one -- Spring Sprung in San Diego about a month ago and I've been on anti-histamines much, much more than I like -- itchy watery eyes along with breathing problems when out walking and hard to forget a fun dash to ER with yet undetermined allergic reaction -- the spring wildflowers have got me in the past, but not nearly as bad as...
  14. Open Original Shared Link Found the photo above on FB first thing this morning -- from Explore Canada's page -- taken in Vancouver -- Spring is on the way -- hope it makes it to you folks east of there very quickly!!!
  15. Great long-long day...wanted a few extra credit points to lock my grade so saw a film about water management -- cars were shuffled a bit incorrectly today so I walked home -- thankful I could at 530 in the evening, but asses were chewed a bit for no one fetching me before the second major hill between - here and there. Needless to say...didn't feel...
  16. Zippity Doooo Daaaaa - Zippity Ehhhh -- My o my what a wonderful day!!! That made my week, nay month -- perhaps even this year!!!! Oh darn it -- those pesky happy tears were bound to hop out and there. they. are. Good tears are wonderful -- think I'll enjoy them and your good news for a few moments before I get back to it. Great Big - HUGE...
  17. Hi AnnJay-- I forget..can you do coconut flour? I find it works fairly well - I prefer almond flour since I got almonds back, but still do use coconut.
  18. See this is how the plot started -- we are all turning into cave peeps and L2T passes thru with unbelievable food that smells absolutely mouthwatering....that's it I'm hooking up the dogsled
  19. I'd do meatza -- lol -- mine would be almost all meat - no cheese, but would top with vegies and....more meat
  20. Here I am -- I, like IrishHeart have had several setbacks while remaining as gluten free as possible in this world. What she has typed contains loads of valuable information - I have nothing to add - just confirm that I agree that histamine containing and histamine inducing foods could be a piece of your puzzle. Here is a link I like to use for...
  21. So sorry...this boggles my mind -- each and every time I hear that a doctor refused to order simple blood tests....they should all be fired. Make sure you read the "Newbie 101" thread and let us know if you have any questions
  22. Good Dealio -- was wondering what my next incentive for my men to keep knocking off the "honey-do" list would be. Squirmy -- glad to hear you are getting settled -- gotta admit I get anxious just hearing you all talking about packing up - I'll be ready in a few more years -- not that I procrastinate or anything Oh jeez -- just realized will probably...
