  1. Sounds like you are just starting to get symptoms. It can take a while to make enough antibodies and for them to do enough damage to show up. Open Original Shared Link
  2. Some movies must be seen on a large screen with the sound blasting all around you. We rarely eat out anymore, so we can spend the bucks on movies.
  3. I haven't posted yet, because I didn't really know what to say. Still don't. I imagine she is eating a nice pizza with a side of baked potato and a big bowl of ice cream or some decadent gluteny dessert.
  4. Have you looked at this thread? There is also a breakfast and lunch one somewhere around here. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/75238-the-whats-for-dinner-tonight-chat/page-395#entry869192
  5. Your replying to a person who hasn't been on here for 4 years. I doubt they will answer. The best way to find out if this drug is gluten-free is to call the company. Many will say that, because they do not test it, they will not call it gluten-free. But it has no gluten-free ingredients. So most of us would consider a statement like that as the...
  6. I have used it. It's not my favorite.
  7. Here is another. They don't agree on the exact timing and amount but they all say more than a week. Open Original Shared Link
  8. That doesn't make sense if its a gene test. Your genes don't change except in movies about mutants. They are what you are born with. Maybe this is not for a genetic test?
  9. This is reliable info from the Internet. You might need to print it and show it to him. This is from doctors that treat and research Celiac disease. Open Original Shared Link
  10. Genes don't change, so something is going on here. Do you have the actual results from the current one and the previous one in your hand? I'm wondering if they told you incorrectly, did the wrong test or you understood incorrectly. Sometimes, they throw a bunch of stuff at you and its easy to get confused. Sometimes they even call it the wrong thing....
  11. Looks gluten-free to me. That stuff makes most people a bit sick to their stomach.
  12. Maybe if your friends all tell the store manager they want more ice cream? Can you close the shop for a few minutes and zip over to the grocery?
  13. I sent you a pm.. Maybe you could get the person who stocks the ice cream to call you when they get some in?
  14. Pei Wei - small but reliable gluten-free menu PF Chang's - extensive gluten-free menu, most things on the regular menu can be made gluten-free, they cycle items thru the printed menu. Very reliable, read about them on their website Applebys is a problem from what I have seen- they list foods that are gluten-free until they prepare them. For example...
  15. The neighbors would have been talking about that for years!
  16. I have a friend that is severly allergic (with anaphalaxsis). It is a tricky one. There is sesame in a lot of surprising places. Makes restaurants hard. Good luck!
  17. I know. Just wanted you to laugh.
  18. The easiest rule to live by right now is: Read the ingredients on everything with an ingredient list and don't eat anything you haven't prepared yourself or seen prepared. There are apps but they are limited. There is no way they have info for every brand of everything. Some compensate for that by saying the unlisted items have gluten, even...
  19. Thank goodness you chose posting here over running naked, down the street with a baguette in your hand! ( that was what you said, wasn't it? )
  20. Go to human resources and mention ADA. See the look of dread and terror or annoyance that will spread across their face. But, you can bring a lunch? Them providing a safe lunch isn't really a requirement to help you do your job.
  21. I don't see the little guy either. Or the little letter icon for mail. I liked the little letter. It takes an extra step to pm people now! And forget about any of us being friends!
  22. There was something odd going on earlier. I believe it has been fixed. SQUIRMY!! CAN YOU HEAR ME?
  23. Yeah...but you can't call me that!
