    nope - i don't drink coffee - it makes me sick but, yes, i get your point. i am having a different reaction to alcoholic beverages the longer i am gluten free. can't drink wine anymore. unless i have bail $$

    don't they make bongs anymore?? jeez........ i seriously doubt something you're smoking can gluten you - 1, it's smoke and 2, it goes in your lungs, not your intestines. and if you're eating it, stop it. i know some people who just can't smoke weed - it makes them nauseas.. you don't *need* it, like food, so just quit it - plus it will save you...

    right? now we have 3 (THREE) riding mowers, the yard is the size of a matchbook (or, the amount of yard he has to mow excluding the pool and garden areas) but i DO have an acre down at the riverside. where i can make a track to race lawnmowers.......

    i hardly ever eat out because of that - i think i order out/eat out only 4 times per year and it makes me nervous. a few times i just order the (dinner or whatever) and take it home 'just in case' - i had luck with jason's deli down here in knoxville that's the name of it: pinto's - are you familiar with oak ridge nj? it's right on bvr on the jefferson...

    i'm so sorry, mw, i completely missed this when i was reading at least she went peacefully. we have another hemingway cat hanging around the house outside - this is the 2nd one - i was wondering if a 6-toed cat is lucky or creepy... that chicken sounds deeelicious, alwayslearning and half an hour sounds pretty good, too, for in a hurry nights! ...

    yup - did that myself - making kids leftover chinese food (with regular 'wheat' soy sauce in it) and licked my fingers - if i had any doubt that gluten messed me up, it disappeared quickly!! *immediate* reaction - i wore gloves for a few weeks to teach myself not to lick my fingers........... last thanxgiving i licked the ladle to some cheese dip that...

    i was drinking redbridge, but recently tried bards and new planet. my beer guy is going to hate me, i'm going to make him order bards and send back the redbridge. just another 'click' - the bards is nicer to my gut and i like the taste better.. the new planet 'blonde' was absolutely delish but i can't find it around here.

    i think cipro is a broad spectrum antibiotic - that will kill everything. i am of the opinion that docs prescribe this when they can't figure out where they think your "infection" is - like kidney infection or urinary tract infection - i agree, you should find out for what reason you are being prescribed this. it will certainly mess up your intestinal bacteria...

    how long has he been gluten-free? it's a huge lifestyle change, you are right: women handle things in communities - here you/we are talking about it i think if he is pretty new to the diet, maybe he needs time to come to terms with the changes. until he can 'own' it. if he is celiac/ncgi it's a lifetime commitment - always gluten-free, never any gluten...

    cherry tomatoes!!!!! yeah!!!! i'm eating them like candy (3 a day haha that's how much candy i can have hahahaa) but still loving them right off the vine. gave some to the 'neighbors' (our son & his girlfriend lolz) they came over and raided the garden for some cukes and rosemary also. the weeds are uber overtaking everything since it has been raining...

    are you sure it isn't the caffeine? coffee destroys me - haven't tried any coke (don't like it anyway) since i have been gluten-free. you could be right, though, many people are sensitive to corn.

    lolz, nicole, i just said the same thing on her other post maybe you are getting cc'd by something that you added in with the casein? if you're sick from eating it, maybe you're casein/lactose intolerant. or your gut is just not healed enough to handle it?

    i don't know how casein would make your antibody levels go up - i know that people with celiac usually have trouble digesting dairy/casein because the (damaged) villi in your small intestines are what produces the stuff that allows your body to digest dairy. so, it would make you uncomfortable and maybe irritate your guts..... ?

    i tried 'boost plus' yesterday - too much soy, i think, for me. i am down to 110 because i was on vacation and not eating properly, i'm sure! i am going to try it again on a day that i didn't get all crazy eating cherries (one is good, one hundred not so good!)
