  3. traveljunkie-- NICE! we use the rice, lime or pico d. gallo for taco salads or with beans, rice too. yum is right

  5. no experience with looking for a gluten-free one...but had to ck out this post b/c my grandma always made mincemeat pie for x-mas. and we all used to joke about the poor minces that were killed for her pies anywho, couldn't you just make your own w/ ingredients like below? not sure where you buy beef suet, but since its just fat, i would think it should...

Karen-- I'm not sure if its gluten-free...stopped using it a while ago...but for my major itchy winter skin (that drove me crazy!!) i used to use neutrogena's anti-itch lotion. helped a ton... also--this is more expensive, but you could also try a lotion with lactic acid in it, moisturizes and "sloughs" dead skin. i used to buy some at a drug store...

  9. I have a bottle of lea and perrins (US) and there is no malt in it…it is gluten-free. Weird. Their website (US) says their worst. is suitable for Celiacs
  10. Think my fav's are glutano cracker bread and especially their regular crackers. I like Mary's Gone...but feel like they hurt my teeth a bit

  14. creid-- it WILL get easier--promise! the first go away is definitely the hardest. after that, its just maintaining. anything you're struggling with right now especially? PS--I pasted a list of the products I use below to help give you ideas. This year I switched over to more natural products, which you may or may not be interested in, but just in case...
  15. What a fascinating article...interesting info on how diseases get researched and getting funding and a reminder of how drug companies do help influence that. This article being in the WSJ is really encouraging to me--we are definitely at the forefront in a break of awareness...it should only grow from here!
  16. I agree with floridanative too. Not wanting to take any risks, and knowing their are so many products out there that are gluten-free, I decided to switch out all of my products. Wheat was in so many of my hair/makeup type products, I was shocked, and did want anything to do with them!

What I had purchased at Costco, the company that annoyed me with no return responses was call Aunty Nuts wheat free almond crunch...different than Mrs. Mays. Mrs. Mays is the one I purchased online and love--def gluten-free. Sorry if I confused someone!!

  23. Oh, and the mention of walmart reminded me, in case you didn’t know, they have begun labeling of all their gluten-free products—so you can start looking at your local walmart for gluten free markings on their packages. That is a lower priced alternative for you…
