  5. okay, so i went home over lunch and stuck my tongue in the bottle to taste (sweet and sour)... let's just say it was "funky." maybe try the other flavors and not the sweet and sour it just tasted weird, not like the sweet and sour sauce you'd get at a restaurant. here's a homemade recipe for it if you want to try making it from scratch... ...

Echinacea activates your immune system, gives it a boost, so if you have an autoimmune disease, that would mean it also activates your disease. ie. if you have Hashi's thyroid (where your body attacks your thyroid) taking Echinacea could theoretically increase damage potential... Celiac is unique in the the sense that if we are gluten-free and our body...

  12. TinkerbellSwt -- unfortunately, there is no real quick fix for getting over being glutened. however, most people here have their own ways of coping--some break out the immodium, gingerale, chicken soup. alot of us try and sleep it off or take time out to rest. what are your symptoms ?

  16. Matilda- I only use BE's makeup minerals, not their skincare products. Have you tried using bronzer ever? Sometimes when I am really pale (like now : ) I prefer it to blush...looks natural, but gives better all over color. Just another idea... Hope you're still feeling well!

  18. we do understand gluten can make a real mess of us! suggestions for being 100% gluten-free. get lists that help. there is the delphi list, clan thompson list...and as you call manufacturers, make up your own list too. another tip is to stick to simple, whole foods like veggies, fruit, unprocessed meats. go here to see safe and forbidden ingredient...
  19. nice thread Lori... i am also interested in good gluten-free cookie recipes! i am having a cookie exchange this weekend (i do it for christmas annually) and really want to impress my non-gluten-free friends with some kick-as* gluten-free cookies! any ideas? i haven't done much gluten-free baking from scratch yet (which i love)...so in the future months...

  22. Lea & Perrins worcestershire is gluten-free too. I'm not sure about the soy, but perhaps by the wheat being 'digested' they mean they use distilled vinegar from grain in that product??
  23. Also, what type of cider are you drinking? Has it been pasturized? Unpasturized can have bacteria in it and create diarrhea too...
