  2. Hez, I've heard good things about Disney. Do a search on the forum here too, there have been past threads on Disney. Also, whenever I travel, I always take gluten-free dining cards with me. Makes it much easier to communicate. Have fun!

  4. There are a few products I trust that are not made on dedicated lines...but most I try and stay away from. Some may be a justified warning...others are probably okay, and just use the CYA for legal purposes. Since its hard to tell, its up to you to decide your protocol.

    In addition to what's already been mentioned, I recommend looking into a doctor that is affiliated with your local hospital. I have great experiences with my doctors, which work at a nearby hospital...they seem to be more apt to be up on recent research, education. They also have specialities, much of the time.   12. Carrie- I"m in a similar spot as you, gluten-free 8/9 mos, iron/thyroid/vitamin levels all okay. I think I have hypogyclemia, which I am exploring right now, but other than that, no real ideas on why my energy hasn't improved more. I am still persistently tired, like you. I have been meeting with a nurse who has had Celiac for 10 years, she is working...

  14. i cked and the celiac disease Food takes us 1173 K on my palm. the pc software would be different fm that. i love the list--big help when shopping-saved me a few times... as long as you don't have dial-up, it shouldn't take too long to download. you get updates every few months.
  15. I second Tiffany--listen to your body. Sometimes tests don't tell us what we need...or what is going on inside of us. There are many here who are not a typical "Celiac" but are gluten-free b/c of what gluten does to them...
  16. I use probiotics to replace the "good bacteria" when I am getting sick or on an antibiotic. They do make a difference... That bacteria is also in active yogurt too...
  17. I get sweet cravings for sure. I think mine is related to a sugar/fructose intolerance or hypoglycemia. Ever notice a reaction in your digestive system or in energy levels before and after eating sugar?

  23. Tiffany had some good questions for you... If it is a yeast infection...I recommend acidophilus. I had a bout of reoccurent infections a while back, and had a heck of time getting rid of them. Acidophilus was a huge help and if I am ever on an antibiotic, am getting sick or feel like I am getting a yeast infection, I start taking it again....it helps...
