    Allergies are different from celiac, as I am sure you know. if you also have an allergic reaction to wheat, then sure, it will cause itching. But if you were to just wash your hands before putting them in your mouth or eating any food, the minute traces that could possibly be in the hair gel & transferred to your hair would not be a problem at all...

    I have to echo Karen's thoughts about the word "cure". There are really no "complete cures" for autoimmune diseases, but there are treatments that put symptoms into remission.     Last night we had pork tenderloin and onions, sauteed zucchini noodles, applesauce and these teeny tiny golden potatoes (i have never seen them that small before--they were at the produce stand we have down here--really, they look like marbles ) anyhoo...     Looks like there are quite a few of us with this additional intolerance (and oh boy, right?!) At least we know what it is, though--trying to figure out what else is at play is maddening, isn't it. Hope you are feeling better. If I stay away from the high histamines, I sure do.     Disneyworld is GREAT for G F peeps like us. They take gluten (and all food allergies) seriously. We have many people on here who write about their very positive family holidays there. Publix Markets here in Florida have many G F options on the shelves and Udi's and Rudi's breads in the freezers. I know some people have good experiences at Outback...
