  3. i've had drops before and had good luck with them. have yet to try the chocolate. I think i just might make my own bars...
  4. "should be" is a key word, however, it can still cause a reaction.
  5. I'd put it in a bath of bleachy water and call it good. The fact that it wasn't BAKED with anything gluteny, rather was washed in with something, doesn't concern me.
  6. they are? I didn't know that.
  7. Woke up with something new happening to me today, itching. Normally this isn't unusual, except there is no rash, no bumps, and no marks of any kind. it appears between my fingers, up my right arm to the elbow, and on my chin . In addition to that, my throat is scratchy and ever dry, and sort of itchy (but not really). Ugh, i think it might have been...
  8. Mother keeps bugging me to go off my bread and i need something else to pacify my peanut butter craving. I haven't had rice cakes in a very long time, and have no idea what to look for. Tips?
  9. Neurological stuff (burning and tingling) Indigestion C Knee pain anxiety lack of energy
  10. What method does she learn best in (listening, reading, etc)? It took me a while to accept it, but once i did i became paranoid of it (better that than be ignorant). Reward systems are very good. However, punishing for something she is still new to might not have the effect that you would like.
  11. ^They've also been consuming it for generations as well, so that lowers the risk :/
  12. hmmm, its possible. I would do the self check they posted on there but alas on of my incisions is near the area where they say to press down on...
  13. Looks like you might have had an allergy to it By all means stay that way.
  14. Dieticians won't do much good. Most times they are out of date on information and some insurance policys won't cover them.
  15. Not really, just jump right in. It won't be long before you learn what to do and what not to do
  16. I think i might try elmiminating dairy for now. I remember being off it for a few days after surgery, and i really didn't have indigestion then.... Perhaps then move on to corn, rice, and other such things if that doesn't work. I really hate to do it (because i am a milk fan) but if it makes me feel better i'll try it.
  17. i wonder if you could do other things for filling besides dessert stuffs
  18. what about the ham? some ham has gluten in the preservitives if i remember correctly.
  19. Oh wow, i didn't even think of that It would make sense that acid could trigger something of that sort. I've tried all of the non perscription antacid meds, none worked :/ I had my surgery on the 17th, i've been thinkking that it may be contributing (if only slightly) to this. I intend to ask the surgon what he thinks when i see him on the 1st...
  20. I just use a vitamixer to make flour. Takes about 5 or so minutes but is well worth it. I don't use much premade mixes (outside of bisquick and my bread) because they sometimes contian bean flour.... and it doesn't like me very well
  21. Well, i got my gallbladder out and have seen some improvement (I can taste things! and no longer have that knife in my side pain). But one thing that did not go away, as far as i can tell, is my indigestion from hell (exuse my language, but that is what it is). It makes my chest feel tight, like someone is sitting on it. I have been taking my acid reducing...
  22. Is disney cruise a good one for older "kids" (i'm 21 but a kid at heart)? I'd consider going on one with this type of survice.
  23. ^ makes me wonder if you have other problems besides gluten. Anywho, i'd cut the oldest off of McDs or if that can't be done let it be a treat that he isn't allowed to tell. :<
  24. ^ don't ya hate comments like that ticks me off.
  25. Unfortenently science isn't perfect at all, in some cases such as this, sometimes it is wishful to think that it could figure out why you react the way you do. My own example, i no longer tolerate string beans and sweet potatos but have fallen in love with prunes
