  1. I would suggest the challenge and getting tested, if celiac a common issue is that when you body reacts to gluten, it sometimes gets confused by other things that come in at the same time. It sort of starts associating other foods with the trouble maker gluten. This can lead to allergies developing to others foods......yeah I got corn in that one lol. I...
  2. bluntly, frack the whole "it is safe if you do not swallow it", for gods sake your using your hands to massage it into your hair, for those of us with LONG HAIR, said hair gets in the way when eating, gets blown into your mouth, YOUR ALWAYS running your hands through it. It leads to a CC NIGHTMARE, GUYS IF YOU HAVE SHORT HAIR STFU, you do not know the hazards...
  3. My only concern would be a natural oil derived from barley malt...I can see this being used in some things.....if your vaping you might just look into making your own solutions and getting a refillable vape pen. I mix my own with CBD oils....I found out one company I just recently started using for my own baked goods and beverages are all rated for use in...
  4. I would also get the gluten ataxia reactions, the confusion and mind looping was maddening, like you thoughts would loop on one thing like a broken record and could not get off. You would go to do something you know you should be able to...but you mind just lapses and loops and you can never do it....random things from "how does that door open" to computer...
  5. If your very active with celiac the most common deficiency issue is magnesium...it aids in the way your nerves work. Look at supplementing with magnesium citrate if you have additional constipation issues. Natural Vitality Calm is the way to go 1/4tsp starting off in a warm glass of water...up the dose over a 1-2 week period up to 2tsp if you get diarrhea...
  6. If it says it might contain gluten or contains it...avoid it. As mentioned above for us with celiac it is like them cooking with that ortho ant poison....like they were making something with it right next to yours or used it in the pot rinsed it out then started your food in it...would you risk it? Looking for gluten-free certified foods, and foods not...
  7. I quickly found omelettes to be one of my staples, fats, protein, veggies, and I put some coconut flour in to thicken it up along with one of my keto baked good or breads. I do not do carbs personally but a ketogenic diet. So omelette and a grain free nut flour based toast, roll, or muffin with nut butter or avocado on it. Getting a microwave omelette maker...
  8. While the symtoms will go away on a gluten free diet....the disease is life time no gluten and once you clean out you become more sensitive to it. SO while you finishing off testing you might as well enjoy what you can of your family gluten foods cause soon you will have to dump them for life. >.< God I miss monkey bread, and a good ole monte cristo...
  9. Celiac never goes away.....and if you keep eating gluten your immune system and gut gets more messed up where you develop other food intolerance issues, allergies, etc. This is due to various aspects from you immune system getting confused and associated gluten and those other food together and it starts fighting them, enzyme issues, lack of gut flora to...
  10. It is quite rare and those that do get it are most often much later in their lives. If you had lymphoma you would be having really bad night sweats, swollen glands, etc. Pretty sure it would have shone up in screenings already also. Your bigger concerns would be with further damage to your intestines, and other diseases developing. Mine was ignored til my...

  12. Damaged villi can lead to less absorption of B-vitamins, vitamin D, magnesium, etc....look up deficiency symptoms of these you will start seeing matches. In some people we also have our immune systems attack our nervous system causing confusion, brain fog, and brain damage refereed to as gluten ataxia....there have been studies that found that celiacs with...
  13. I have enzyme issues breaking down egg yolks...but I go through 4-5 cartons of egg whites a week and practically live off them....perhaps the whites might be alright for you? I have found very easy to digest.
  14. This brings to mind assassination by Russian agents or the mafia ......yeah it is that level of BS
  15. ?!?!?!?!? what?! It is dairy free.....EGG WHITES from CHICKENS EGGS, Diary is from COW TITS, completely different species of origin. PS Diet wise PALEO is free of GRAINS and DAIRY, and most of the time BEAN FREE. It is a diet based on what cave man ate of Meat, Eggs, Nuts, Seeds, Fruit. PRIMAL is a diet that allows Diary but not grains or beans....
  16. I would not touch the stuff with a 10ft poll...well I might put on gloves and double trash bag it and throw it out. I use EO products for my shampoo and love the coconut one with keratin. Use the shampoo and conditioner for some of the smoothest hair.
  17. I have a large food list I composed of various options including the standard, instant noodle options, pizza roll, hot pockets, breaded nuggets, instant burritoes, pizza, etc. Could just keep them in stock in your house, invite friends over and provide the snacks instead of eating out or at their house. Bars, and instant microwave meals make great options...
  18. Pro-Granola from Julian Bakery is grain free and low carb/low sugar, Know Foods makes a kind of cheap cereal from their bread products that is low carb. I make Keto Porridge often by using coconut flour, almond flour, and sometimes adding ground flax/chia/ etc thickening it up...you can stir in a egg while cooking it up also for added protein.
  19. Updated list here new links, and composed in a more organized manner LOOK for * on links and you can order from them directly, at the bottom are some websites to purchase from Full Meal Options/Entrees, broad spectrum companies Open Original Shared Link ^Ians gluten-free options you will find sides, baked/fried snacks, onion rings, chicken strips, cheese...
  20. To add bulk to the stool yes, if your issue is constipation then you might consider more liquids, and magnesium in addition and the prune juice Victoria suggest if you tolerate it. >.< Prune juice made mine worse I have Ulcerative Colities and the fructose sugars in prunes trigger it, I tried it before finding the magnesium citrate.
  21. Fiber....wheat fiber, whole grain fiber....oddly to simulate the sticky gluten proteins most companies use starches....high glycemic less fibrous grains and gums to simulate it. Our guts break these down more....and less non soluble fiber makes it through the tract as bulk mass for the stool. Why my number one suggestions include insoulable fiber from nuts...
  22. The Newbie 101 sections here would have some good tips for avoiding wheat/gluten, dealing with a safe cooking enviroment etc. I would avoid eating out aside from chains that have dedicated gluten free menus and are trusted...many are gluten free/wheat free fad menus and the staff/kitchen can not truly deal with the whole CC issue with gluten/wheat. I have...
  23. Well if they cut it with sunflower it would have some effect on me but I have to eat a decent amount to trigger a reaction. Peanuts are the only other thing that can make me projectile vomit as bad as olives currently do again. But I doubt they would risk that allergy. Though you point does bring out a interesting facts...there is one product that contains...
  24. Teavana...yeah if any of their teas contain barley, wheat etc..I would not trust any tea in that store, they do bulk bins..same scoop for most of it,,,and measure on the same scale....CC yep. Most Starbucks are handling the sandwich well..my only concern would be CC on the outside of the wrapper and you accidentally CCing yourself from touching it then...
  25. I would vote for my bakery but not allowed to promote it here . Next Up I would say Julian Bakery since they are low carb grain free bread. Perfect for gluten issues, and various gut issues with it not having carbs.
