You sound pretty unaffordable. And how could we possibly manage to maintain you in the manner to which you've become accustomed???

free health care..........what a pipe dream........canadians also come high as a kite.........

Ah, yes.. . .. . I'd forgotten about the Medical Marijuanna........ . . . . :P

Actually, I have heard that the government-issued stuff is anything BUT good... . . very weak, like smokin' crabgrass er sumfin'. Typically the bureaucrats have trouble getting most things done efficiently and effectively -- hand them over the job of growing good-grade cannabis? It is to laugh. . . . ..... <_<

But yes, that'd perhaps be a bonus for some who want to snatch up a Canadian or two for Christmas - - access to crappy weed..... .....but weed, nonetheless... . ...

A fine bleary mornin' to you all.

School is done, just waitin' for the grade. Called someone to finish my kitchen so that's off my to do list, two more performances (had people sitting on the stairs last night. Six sold out shows in a row :o :o :o )

Got up this morning and was finally capable of seeing what state my house is in and almost went back to bed. Jeez Louweez things go downhill fast when they're ignored. I had to buy more socks and undies last weekend because I hadn't done wash in weeks. Did mange to do some over the week last week and now every horizontal surface has a pile of clothes on it. I sort of look for the color scheme to decide where to dig for what I want to wear (hmmm, lots of blue, I bet the jeans are in there...).

Cat boxes are overflowing, chicken coop reeks, junk mail everywhere, cleaned out kitty tins and water bottles and other recyclables need tending to, I seem to have consumed a fair amount of wine based on the empty bottles stacked near my chair....... Gads what happened here???

I need to consume enough coffee to counteract the margarita I had last night (I accidentally drank all the tequila first and they had to bring me more) before I can manage anything.

Sounds like your normal life to me, Jess.

Yep . . . same here . . . what with the lice-fest, we've been doing a lot more laundry but we're seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Skeeter is "officially" done wif all her treatments. Now we're just waiting (and checking every so often) to see if any more pop up.

Where can a get meselph me own Canadian . . . I suppose it's going to have to be a black market situation . . . maybe one will just happen to "fall off the truck".

And once I get myself a Canadian, will he/she help with the laundry? . . . or do I need to get a Patti Texan for that?

Is it too early to start drinking? Is it too early to go back to bed? Anybody here just drink in bed?

Is it too early to start drinking?
What a psilly question! It is never too early....

Made it through the reds to the second layer of blacks. Decided I needed a second pot of coffee to continue (did you know that clean black laundry is the prime napping spot for white felines?).

Don't have any creamer so I'll be using Bailey's to protect my stomach from all the extra acid in the java.

hmmm drinking in bed....... if my sheets were anything resembling clean I'd be tempted. I have no idea what all that grit I woke up in this morning is, but I don't intend to sleep in it again tonight. I believe the clean sheets are at the bottom of the stack. An incentive to keep digging.

Why in hell do I have so many clothes anyway?

Ya know, when you think about it, that would be a very efficient way to go.....

So glad The Skeetster is done wif the treatment--meant to ask about that but the head is a sieve lately.

Jess--I wish I lived closer to you....I love a challenge  Just ask me kids :P

Anywho, sounds like both of youse are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. :D I know yer grades are gonna be boffo ;)

We're off to mail the last of the Christmas gifts this afternoon--it's a beautiful day here sunny and about 60 for the high B) A whole heck of a lot better than in the NE--which we got outta just in time

You just reminded me that I never washed my pillows from the last time I spilled wine while drinking in bed. I'm sure those are at the bottom of some stack of something as well. May be easier just to buy new pillows at this point.

Woweeee.. . ....... ... . Jyesss's place sounds like a ....funhouse er sumfin'.. . .....lotsa coloUrful things everywhere ya turn around -- some things covered in wine, others in cat hair, grit, Bailey's. . . . ....... Sounds like you don't need to pour yerself a drink - - just walk around the rooms and lick things as you go....

:huh::lol:

I think we are expensive....you should wait until the new year sales -- you might get two-for-one specials. Or scratch and dent sales, where you'll find a decent Canadian who is a little ugly er sumfin', but still can do yer chores. . ......

well, chicken coop is clean icon8.gificon8.gificon8.gif

What you’re describing is actually very common, and unfortunately the timing of the biopsy likely explains the confusion. Yes, it is absolutely possible for the small intestine to heal enough in three months on a strict gluten-free diet to produce a normal or near-normal biopsy, especially when damage was mild to begin with. In contrast, celiac antibodies can stay elevated for many months or even years after gluten removal, so persistently high antibody levels alongside the celiac genes and clear nutrient deficiencies strongly point to celiac disease, even if you don’t feel symptoms. Many people with celiac are asymptomatic but still develop iron and vitamin deficiencies and silent intestinal damage. The lack of immediate symptoms makes it harder emotionally, but it doesn’t mean gluten isn’t harming you. Most specialists would consider this a case of celiac disease with a false-negative biopsy due to early healing rather than “something else,” and staying consistently gluten-free is what protects you long-term—even when your body doesn’t protest right away.

Yes, I meant if you had celiac disease but went gluten-free before screening, your results would end up false-negative. As @trents mentioned, this can also happen when a total IGA test isn't done.

I found at Disney springs and Disney they have specialist that when told about dietary restrictions they come and talk to you ,explain cross contamination measures tsken and work with you on choices. Its the one place I dont worry once I've explained I have celiac disease.  Thier gluten free options are awesome.

Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.
