I'm on call for New Years Eve and day this year so there will be no parteh for us, however, you may all come to my house, bring yer kids, and have at the bar-LOTS of free booze (but stay outta the voka freezer ;) )

Ummmm . . . nobody was invited . . . :P . . . I was just going to see if I could get Em here by dangling a carrot wine bottle in front of her. If I get her to show, I'll give you a call.

It would certainly be more fun to have help going through stuff/junk/tatt . . . If anybody comes to help me, I will guarentee free booze.

Gads, the weathermen all said RAIN today--ALL DAY, and guess what it's been doing since lunch--SNOWING BUCKETS. Guess who's stuck at work--ALL OF US!!! 3 people tried to leave, but abandoned their cars in the parking lots after 2 hours. I didn't bring my jammies--oh wait, I wear scrubs. I do have deoderant and a toothbrush here, but NO MAKEUP and NO ALCOHOL!!! What shall I do???

This happened one other time when a Frito-Lay truck jack-knifed and dumped fry oil all over the freeway :o:lol::lol:

I may be coming down wif another cold :angry: The girl who rang me up at Barnes and Noble on Sunday was obviously sick and I'm sneezing and getting chills. Jeepers....I just got over a cold :(

Unacceptable! Take a spoonful of honey, do cardio to sweat it out, then take a hot steam shower!!

Scrounge around in the flammable cabinets.....scout out the bottles of 100% ethanol.....add some juice from the cafeteria and you're good to go.

Are you still at the hospital, Rashyellle? Our hospitals are so over-crowded right now, if one was to get stuck there overnight there would be no spare bed... ..... .just cupboard floors and desktops, methinks...... . ..lotsa meds around, tho, to make sleep come regardless of where one was.. . . ... <_<

I'm alive, but barely <_< Had THEEEE worst night sleep ever. We're lucky in our department because we have quite a few exam rooms with beds, but I had to have chosen the most uncomfortable one! Oh wells, I'm safe, was warm, and I will have the most comfy bed to sleep in tonight. :)

Twill be a 3 or 4 espresso day for me, so watch out!! :D

      What you’re describing is actually very common, and unfortunately the timing of the biopsy likely explains the confusion. Yes, it is absolutely possible for the small intestine to heal enough in three months on a strict gluten-free diet to produce a normal or near-normal biopsy, especially when damage was mild to begin with. In contrast, celiac antibodies can stay elevated for many months or even years after gluten removal, so persistently high antibody levels alongside the celiac genes and clear nutrient deficiencies strongly point to celiac disease, even if you don’t feel symptoms. Many people with celiac are asymptomatic but still develop iron and vitamin deficiencies and silent intestinal damage. The lack of immediate symptoms makes it harder emotionally, but it doesn’t mean gluten isn’t harming you. Most specialists would consider this a case of celiac disease with a false-negative biopsy due to early healing rather than “something else,” and staying consistently gluten-free is what protects you long-term—even when your body doesn’t protest right away.

      Yes, I meant if you had celiac disease but went gluten-free before screening, your results would end up false-negative. As @trents mentioned, this can also happen when a total IGA test isn't done.

      I found at Disney springs and Disney they have specialist that when told about dietary restrictions they come and talk to you ,explain cross contamination measures tsken and work with you on choices. Its the one place I dont worry once I've explained I have celiac disease.  Thier gluten free options are awesome.

      Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.
