17 Euphemisms for Sex From the 1800s

by Adrienne Crezo - September 4, 2012 - 1:52 P

:lol::lol:

Face-Making!...Brilliant in its literal hilarity.... .. ..

Mental Floss is THEEEE best mag -- Jack and I are avid readers...

Speaking of which, Vincent, Jack the Ripper is my 15 year-old son who is a huge consumer of sci-fi fiction. He chatted at length with POeter while they were here about P's very famous multi award-winning brother who writes sci-fi novels... . ...always nervous about mentioning big names, here...:unsure:... . .Anyway, I have put Jack onto you, and he is very excited to have found another author that speaks to him! Do you have a facebook page?

curlyfries Contributor

Any time a silly has come anywhere near here, I have met up with them.

So there:)

Oh yes! Patteigh even went a little out of her way to Texas just to meet me!

(In my little world of make-believe that was the ONLY reason for her and Mark to be there ;) )

I have actually not read their mag... just their web site. Love it. Is there anything in the mag that is NOT on the site?

Holy crap...only a few hours of sleep last night... . . ...we went to see Madonna's theatrical offering as it stopped off in its tour across Canada...

She is unbelievable in many ways, but mostly in the way her body looks, and MOVES, for a fifty-four year-old.... I was like this :blink: throughout...

Great phun... B)

I have some news I feel I need to share with you psillies. Most of you are aware that I have been in a long term relationship with the same man for the past six years. Without getting into too many details here on the board, I will tell you that about a month ago I decided to break up with him, and he subsequently committed suicide.

While I very much appreciate (and need!) the support that I know I will get from you, I also want you to know that I am also sharing this as I have been feeling disingenuous on the board as of late. There have been a number of conversations I haven't joined as I would need to refer to my relationship in the past tense and I knew you all would notice. So just so you know what's going on, I will be talking about my 'past' relationship from now on on the board.

Bun, I don't quite know what to say. I do understand your feeling of being disingenuous, though. When such a profound, life altering event occurs you are not the same person and it gets tricky communicating as we do on a message board.

You (both) are in my thoughts and I hope you know that I'm always here for you.

Buhgnee, I am so sorry. May your healing keep you strong.....big hugs. :wub:

It sure does.....difficult enough communicating face-to-face with someone after something like this, let alone on a forum....we're all thinking about you, Bhun!

Jeepers, Bun Bun, what a terrible thing to have happen. I am so sorry for what you have been going through. Thank you for sharing with us. {{{hugs}}}

curlyfries Contributor

I'm so sorry, Bunbun. What a difficult and tragic thing to go through. And as Patteigh said ......life-altering. Many psillies have backed away while going through their own life-altering events, and it seems that most come back when they begin to heal. Although you may never quite feel the same....I know I don't......it is a comfort to be nestled amongst the psillies :wub: I hope this is a sign that you are healing. I hope to see you popping in from time to time so we can snuggle you up and give you a giggle once in a while. :)

Bunny so sorry !

Hope the healing hugs will help.

Yes it's so true, some of us old timers, who have to take

breaks, always find our way back to the thread when we need support,,

So happy everyone is here for you.

      So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

      I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this.Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.
