  1. Get a copy of the pathology reports for the biopsies. If they took them in more than one locations you may have 2 or more. Sometimes they can squish it all in one report. I'm thinking they may have only have biopisied the colon. If they did biposies in the small intestine, the pathologist looks at them and see's whatever he seees. He doesn't test them...
  2. Sorry to tell you that a colonoscopy cannot diagnose Celiac. Did they do an endoscopy at the same time? A colonoscopy goes thru the end of the digestive tract and sees that last part. The endo goes thru the mouth and looks at the top portion ( sm intestine). celiac is found in the small intestine.
  3. I think you are interpreting this incorrectly. They don't test for gluten so they won't list them as gluten free. They make many different products, so they wouldn't even be made on the same machines or in the same factories. Cheese wouldn't be made on the same machinery that makes crackers, for example. Wouldn't work. Like Skylark said, if you feel...
  4. Good for you! Jump up and down. I had a yoga teacher who said that generates endorphins & will cure lots of things!
  5. Hi! Welcome! Love your " self portrait"
  6. Exactly, ! You have to bring something with you at all times, in case you need it. I keep packs of nuts in my purse or car. Always. Then you just take them out when you need to eat without waiting for someone else to find you something. There are plenty of "Regular " foods you can eat. I just wouldn't trust others to keep them safe for us. You can...
  7. Usually, I make it in the a.m. For dinner at night. We find the next day it's starts to fall apart but still tastes good. My parents were eating it for 2 days and thought it was good the second day. Another of my sneaky plans to get more calories in my mom- used full fat and oil Italian dressing on hers and extra salami.
  8. Please watch the dates on product info as ingredients change over the years. Would have been easier and politer to have said that that info is out of date and here are the current ingredients..
  9. I just made some with Tinkyada spirals. I rinse them with cool water, shake the water off, then put Italian dressing on them and cheese, cukes, etc. Comes out great. Pasta isn't hard at all. I'm going to try a corn pasta on the Santa Fe pasta recipe. I find the rice pasta gets mushy when sauced not hard.
  10. You clean, too?
  11. This one is good, too. I think it would be good with corn pasta. Add extra veggies if desired. Double chicken for an entr
  12. Will you move in with me? I'm cleaning out the guest room right now.
  13. Can you do the So Delicious ice creams? You could have the expensive ice cream and they could have the regular dairy stuff. Add fruit if you like. We like to have vanilla or choc ice cream with fruit and maybe choc fudge sauce. Or a sorbet? They might have corn syrup. Maybe you could make your own? Lots of recipes for them on the internet. mix in...
  14. You must take responsibility for having safe food! You cannot depend or expect others to figure it out and serve you safe food. If you want to go on a church retreat, bring your own food. Don't expect them to " accomadate" you. Even if they tried, they probably wouldn't understand cc or that some oats are not gluten-free. Going to family functions...
  15. Love the sign! Every college Frat Row should have one. Matt worked at a summer camp that put hot dogs and PB on big pretzel sticks in cages at night to see what they would catch. Kept getting the same raccoon every night ( he had a chunk out of his ear so they could tell it was him). After the first few times that he got himself accidentally caught...
  16. Pamelas pancake mix and Aunt Jemima instant pancake mix. Not gluten-free! Hub ran out of instant pancake mix. Needed about 25% more mix. Added Pamela's and an egg white. Made fluffy, thick, yummy ( or Suomi was told) pancakes. They then put PB and fake maple syrup on them.
  17. I usually make this version but it is very sugary. Open Original Shared Link When you make them into crackers, do you roll them out flat? When you add cheese, do you need less nut butter? The hemp or chia - I've never used them. Is that the only "butter" in the crackers? Would that be the one to add cheese? My mom is not eating well and needs...
  18. Sorry. I was enthusiastically scrolling on my touch screen and hit the minus. Would someone" plus" her back to neutral?
  19. A good reminder that there are reasons besides cc of gluten that can make us feel bad - Food poisionimg, stomach bug, pregnancy, any food made by a MIL, and gluttony! Enough of that... On to the important facts! Are they frozen? Do you microwave or sit them out to defrost? Coffee or milk to accompany? Pepto or Tums?

    Acceptance Is Coming

I read these blogs because I have to check for "illegal" advertising. We have even had some complete with X rated pictures. So that's why I have seen your blogs. I think you are confused on what products have gluten, Bacon, as an example. In the US, I have never seen one with gluten. I have heard someone found a cheap brand once that listed wheat...
  21. Breaking out in hives sounds like an allergic reaction. I know a couple of people allergic to strawberries and they get hives from them.
  22. Maybe you would want to join one that is up and running? Google "Celiac support group New York City" & check Open Original Shared Link
  23. Does anyone have a yummy lemon or lime salad dressing recipe? The cafeteria at Hubs work used to make one but no one left there knows the recipe. It did involve gallons and quarts, so not good for home use.
  24. Google products to find out the truth about them. For instance, from the Elmer's glue site: "Is Elmer's glue gluten free? All of our products are gluten free except for the Elmer's Finger Paints. The finger paints contain wheat and oat products."
