  1. They make pre-made frozen crusts???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off to do one tracked mind search!!!!! Until I find where I can get it!
  2. Maybe, she would like teriyaki chicken with rice? I know they make a brand of sauce that is gluten-free (can't think of the name and it's in my fridge). I mix the soy sauce with the teriyaki sauce, so it isn't quite so sweet and thick. As far as I know your milk will stay the same (except in the beginning, when it is colostrum). The fatty part of your...
  3. I believe they make it with malt there fore it has gluten in it. I wouldn't touch it.
  4. You could also be dehydrated. try drinking more water, it may help.
  5. Just a thought, walnuts and greens have allot of fiber in them. Perhaps the combo of the 2 was too much fiber, which could cause loose stooles. Letting her nurse is probably the best thing you can do. Mother's milk is high in calories, vitamins, calcium, etc. It is easily digested. Are you gluten-free and dairy free yourself? They have found that gluten...
  6. I second that statement. I was diagnosed 19 years ago, it's no biggy. I hate it when people say they feel sorry for me. I say not to, I don't want a pitty party. I'm perfectly fine having it. There could be worse things. I'm just glad I'm not sick anymore. There are new gluten-free products coming out all the time. Good ones at that, Back then you had...
  7. Wine, makes for a fabulous sauce on steak. If you are cooking the wine, which most likely you are, the alcohol is cooked out and you only get the wine essence, no alcohol taste. You could make a demi type sauce, it uses butter, milk, salt and pepper and you could omit the white wine. You could add a little garlic, or onion powder to give it a little kick...
  8. Back in the day (about 19 years ago) when I was diagnosed, Butterball turkeys were on the no-no list. They were injected with a solution to help keep them moist that contained wheat. As far as I know, they are now gluten-free. I have never had an issue with any wine, but I drink better quality wine, no boones farm for me, LOL
  9. I changed mine also due to safety reasons, my ex-b/f was (or still is) stalking me on the internet. Mine used to be my name with my old companies name. Now it is a generic name-litteraly.
  10. Yes, it is very common. When you are malnourished due to poor absorption you can not absorb the vitamins needed to maintian the enamel on your teeth, etc. I personally have lost most of my teeth, due to this. I was diagnosed 19 years ago and I still have dental issues. I am in the process of getting partials at this point.
  11. Just an F.Y.I. if you have a small wrist (like me) the adult size is way too big. It literally falls off whenever I take my coat off. I have almost lost mine more times than I can count. Yes, I have a small wrist but it isn't that small. I need a child size and really don't want to order another 10 just to get my size. I will wait until everyone breaks...
  12. Thank you good to know...I wish they would state that you can get the instructions on line at least.....
  13. I bought a package of the 7 inch sized crusts and the darn package had absolutely no cooking instructions what so ever. Not even a suggested temperature to cook them at. EERRGGGHH! If I am going to pay that much for them they could at least put a temp suggestion. I burned the first one.
  14. At least they pump it for you!. I just payed 3.43 for regular at the am/pm (cheap gas station) in Seattle.
  15. Also, you can buy Bob's redmill products at most normal grocery stores now-a-days. Including xantham gum.
  16. Sorry, I can't help. I have been there only once, and wouldn't have eaten there even if I could eat the food/ beer. The prices are ridiculous. If I remember correctly 1 beer cost like 7 bucks.
  17. You should make sure they use cron totillias, I make them at home. I haven't seen any that were made out of corn before.
  18. I just had a thought. Maybe your gall bladder is starting to have some issues and isn't producing enough bile to help break down the oils....
  19. I have been curious about this, but hesitant to try it. I want to know what they do to it to modify it. Is it chemically?
  20. I have had accupuncture done, and chinese herbs and it really is a miracle cure for me. Before when I got glutened accidentally, I would end up in the E.R. I wouldn't be able to stop both ends from going. I would go into to severe dehydration and the last few times my blood pressure dropped so bad they thought I was going to die. This would all happen within...
  21. For the calcium, you could just take tums, they are high in calcium and are fairly inexpensive. It is possible that it was a coincidence. Try the probiotics, yoghurt etc, it can't hurt. Also as far as your bm's it could be the lack of not getting enough fiber.
  22. I second the glutino crackers. They make a "ritz" type one and also one that reminds me of a club cracker. Both are really good. As for th ener-g cinnamom crackers, they were ok, nothing fabulous but nothing gross either. I remember thinking they tasted very similar to, deep frying cut up corn tortillias and putting cinnamon and sugar on them. For the...
  23. Lister, I'm glad you figured out you had gallstones. I thought that was what it was when you described the "marble". As for the gallstone, they are usually made out of cholesterol. The stones can "calcify" and turn hard, which is when they would have to take your gallbladder out. Most likely the pain you are feeling is gall attacks. I have never heard...
  24. Is it possible that it is the corn? Maybe when it is ground up you digest it more, verses eating it whole. I know allot of people when they eat corn on the cob, out of the can, etc. that they don't really digest it well. And it will come out the "bottom" end pretty much intact. Just a thought.
  25. Xantham gum helps hold it together. Baking powder is definatley not the same. You could however get guar gum. It is quite a bit cheaper.
