For the cold water I just throw the tea ball with about a teaspoon of lavander in a quart of filtered water. I throw a couple bruised mint leaves on top and put it in the fridge for a few hours. Like I said, I have to find my medical records in what is literally dozens of piles of books and paperwork scattered around my living room/office. It is a nightmare right now. I will bring up thyroid testing with my (new) doctor. He doesn't seem to be a moron so hopefully he'll not be resistant to it. He seems happy to look for answers while we wait for insurance...

Green tea is still tea. Green, white, black, and oolong tea are all from the same plant and in general an issue with one will mean and issue with all four. I do buy some herbal teas, which like I said I like to get at Teavana. I also like to just buy herbs from the local herb shop and throw those in a tea ball. I do know a people who eat gluten free who will eat things from shared bakeries. None of those people I know eat gluten free for medical reasons. Had thyroid panel done in January. It was fine. I didn't settle for asking the doctor to test my thyroid either. I flat out told him which tests to do and checked the results myself in my records. For personal reasons I do not drink coffee or tea. That said, by "tea" what I mean is I do not drink tea of the tea plant. I do drink whatever herbal teas I like since they are not actually tea at all. That would be my suggestion to try, of course staying away from any that have barley. While we were at the fair last summer we got popsicles and I had an avocado pistachio one. My husband thought I was quite clearly insane. He had some berry something or other I'm sure, because that would be his go to if we were getting popsicles.

It is a sore subject in my house as well. You can pick up a $4 generic of any number of narcotics. Still costs $200-$300 a month for a vial of insulin, times two kinds. No generic. No substitutes. And exactly, no one is abusing freaking insulin unless some dips$#& thinks eating cake once in a while and correcting for it is abusing insulin. But yeah..... -
Cheesecake popsicles? Don't mind if I do! This is why I do recipes for popsicles. I have never been satisfied with fruit/yogurt/koolaid/juice frozen. I want something far more exciting than that. When it rains it pours right? Yesterday the fridge decided to have a fit and went out for a while. Just enough to make everything need to be thrown out. Shipping for frozen things is always expensive. Far more than I would ever be willing to pay under pretty much any circumstances. I annoy the heck out of stores until I can get one to order things for me. -

Only when they are A: chocolate or B: covered in chocolate. They can of course be both, such as a Dunford donut. (Of which I believe I ate 3 between diagnosis and going gluten free, which was less than a week. ) I think whether or not cake donuts classify as actual donuts is a matter of opinion.
