ARCHIVED How To Heal Leaky Gut
1desperateladysaved replied to Dancer's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
According to Functional Medicine nurse, my villi were damaged too much to do the job of telling the pancreas to fire. I was seeing capsules coming through undigested at times. I guess I was dependent on the enzymes before I took them. However, the nurse did tell me that the damage is still reversible. If the villi recover, they will do their job! -
ARCHIVED Gluten Sensativity Help?
1desperateladysaved replied to csad859's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Hi Frustrated, I hope you figure things out. Did you have your nutrient levels checked? First I am celiac. I have experienced shakes. That was solved by a magnesium supplement. There may be other reasons for the shakes, but that was my reason. I also had twitching eye at times. I haven't had this recently and do not know why it is gone. I... -
ARCHIVED How To Heal Leaky Gut
1desperateladysaved replied to Dancer's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Here is what I am doing to heal. Avoiding gluten. Avoiding other foods I am intolerant to. Rotating my diet. Taking pancreatic enzymes Taking IgG. I have also used Glutamine for my son's damaged gut. Yeast like it, though. Supplements to overcome nutrient depletion. I have been working with a chiropractor trained in nutrition and a Functional... -
ARCHIVED Im Needing A Bit Of Help Now
1desperateladysaved replied to jhol's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I didn't have food allergies either, that is good news. Since, you don't have allergies I suggest a rotational diet. Have all of your foods, but only every 4 days for a day. If you are intolerant to them; that is supposed to keep you ahead of your bodies antibodies. If you want more help with this plan you can PM me. My information comes from the... -
Now, I don't have the selection to post my draft. I also could not save a second draft that I was working on. Diana

ARCHIVED Lost A Parent To Celiac
1desperateladysaved replied to dani nero's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Sorry to hear of the early loss of your mother. I have genes on both sides of the family also. Sadly my mother is ailing. I discovered our genetics just about the time she stopped being able to cook successfully. It is a helpless feeling. Sorry, again you had to watch . Neither of my parents have known clots. Dad is 82 and Mom 72, Thanks for... -
ARCHIVED Tips For Going Gluten Free?
1desperateladysaved replied to taynichaf's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
You have quite a challenge with an unsupportive mother. I hope things will get better. Can you understand how difficult some of the symptoms are to see? (brain fog? fatigue?) My mother use to tell me that, "I can't tell how you feel." It is when people can see you feel different, by your behavior, that the light begins to dawn in their heads. First... -
ARCHIVED Struggling With Anger At Doctors
1desperateladysaved replied to greenbeanie's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Sorry to hear you have suffered like this. I hope that your new doc will show you respect and try to get to the root of your problem. I want you to get definitive answers that will help you to be delivered from the weight of your burden. Hi Greenbeanie, I like bringing a list of questions to the doctor. That way, I don't forget anything. I hope... -
ARCHIVED Well Water Making Me Sick

Make sure the cap is tight and clean on the top of your well. We had bacteria in once when the cap was cock-eyed. -
ARCHIVED Can't Put On Weight
1desperateladysaved replied to koko-girl's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Have you tried Pancreatic Enzymes to help break down your food? I am not underweight, by the way. I have been told I am carrying water, so am not sure how I will look when I lose that. I looked a tiny wisp of a girl in high school: I was even skinnier than a friend that suffered from Asthma attacks that she caused frequent lack of appetite for her! -
ARCHIVED Food Allergies
1desperateladysaved replied to Brandiwine's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Two spices that I like are fennel and fenugreek. Fennel has a light licorice flavor and I use in gluten-free muffins or cookies. Fenugreek tastes somewhat like maple. My family likes the flavor. I also sometimes use peppermint leaves for a light minty flavor. I am missing cinnamon, but I can possibly eat it again one day. I know, one can't help smelling... -
ARCHIVED Cross Reacting Diet?
1desperateladysaved replied to hannisa's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Have you tried coconut milk? It has many nutrients and energizing fat. Nuts can add nutrients and energy if you tolerate them. Avocados help load me with energy; they aren't my favorite taste. Diana -

ARCHIVED "people With A Preexisting Condition"
1desperateladysaved replied to UnhappyCoeliac's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I did look up adenovirus and I thought that it was the flu. I did express it that I believed it was the flu.. My first intent was to discuss what I do about vaccinations in general and other vaccines have this ingredient. I hadn't considered the flu vaccine in particular since I am not familiar with it having rejected all vaccines. The question which... -

I failed to support this well at first. I was rather strong for the audience. Please forgive this and I did post some links now for people to look into the ingredients for themselves. Get healthy, stay healthy. Diana -
ARCHIVED "people With A Preexisting Condition"
1desperateladysaved replied to UnhappyCoeliac's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
. Sorry, I forgot that this wasn't common knowledge, I have discussed it with several doctors and a person that used to work in a vaccine lab. Please see my amended post for a link to the Center for Disease Controls ingredients of vaccines lists. . Open Original Shared Link You can find what ingredients are in these vaccines by visiting this sight... -
ARCHIVED Celiac Disease, Vegan, And Allergic/sensitive To Everything Else - Help
1desperateladysaved replied to SonjaRebecca's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Sorry, you suffered so long without a definitive diagnosis. I am glad you are making headway. I second what Cycling said about the rotational diet. It helped me with a number of intolerances. I took a 6 week rest from everything that I had antibodies to, but just now I am adding things back one every four days. A number of years of celiac without treatment... -
ARCHIVED "people With A Preexisting Condition"
1desperateladysaved replied to UnhappyCoeliac's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
If you get the flu vaccine make sure you know what is in it. I saw on the website of the Center for Disease Control Open Original Shared Link Thimerosal (mercury) is in it.. They also list fermeldahyde as a possible ingredient in vaccines. They have a list of each specific vaccine and its contents. I don't get vaccines I read the label and consider... -
ARCHIVED Shocked And Overwhelmed
1desperateladysaved replied to slickdaddy0077's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Welcome. Michael, Thanks for the imagery, " I feel like I just got let out of the car in the middle of nowhere and have to find my way back to civilization." I guess we all felt about that way in the beginning. Keep walking in the right direction, and you are bound to get somewhere. You found a good place to come for sympathy and information. It... -
ARCHIVED What Are The Chances?
1desperateladysaved replied to alaynasmommy04's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I was told my children had a 50 % chance of carrying the gene. But that was based on the information that I am 4/4 alleles for Celiac. I would say you might need more information. -
I recommend avoiding all artificial colors and flavors. They just are not food, so why eat them?

ARCHIVED Weight Altercations
1desperateladysaved replied to itsmebiancap's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Getting enough good fat would help you to feel full Good fats as recommended by my nutritionist would include butter, coconut oil, or olive oil. I have been recommended to have about a tablespoon of fat per meal. Just so you know, I am not a blimp from this, I am 5'7" and 160 lbs. I know people don't recommend eating fat, but it gives energy and makes... -
ARCHIVED Digestive Enzymes? (Diagnosed Today)
1desperateladysaved replied to KristinIrwin's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I have gotten enzymes from my health practitioners and from the natural food store and these have all worked. My health practitioner told me the enzymes were needed because the damaged villi don't tell the pancreas to fire. The enzymes will help break down the food for you. I think they are slowly bringing down my swollen abdomen. I am so glad,... -

I tried to edit and post it, but I accidentally deleted the content with one false move! I tried to find the post I copied it from, but could not. Anyway, I will not be able to complete it. Diana
