    ((hugs)) for your friend! I'm so glad that he is ok! Very scary!! I would just go for something like stew or pot roast that can be thrown in the crockpot and be safe for everyone eating.

    I was at SuperTarget yesterday and saw, once again, the cake mixes from Cherrybrook Kitchen. You all have GOT to try it! It's kind of pricey ($5 something), but it came out really well as cupcakes. No more wacky cakes for me.     I have been on a quest for cake for a long time. I have baked mostly flops. On a whim yesterday, I bought a mix from Cherrybrook Kitchen called Gluten Free Dreams Chocolate Cake Mix (Peanut Free, Dairy Free, Egg, Free, Nut Free). I made it into cupcakes and it's pretty good!

    We used to love Wacky Cake when we were only dairy/egg free. It was my favorite cake! I tried it again with the gluten-free substitutions and, again, it wasn't good.

    Definitely visit Pizza Fusion!! I was in South FL visiting family over the holidays and took my dd there for pizza! She loved it and even got a brownie too! One word of warning, though... give them a call before you go there because they need a little notice for the gluten-free crust.

    I was going to call them to ask about whether any of their goodies are egg-free. If they aren't, then my dd can't eat them.

    I made the crust and put some raspberry sorbet on top. The crust got rock solid so we had to sort of chip it out of the pan. She loved it though!

    Oh, I am so glad to see this post and the great pictures of food!! We are anticipating a trip to Disney next Christmas. How far ahead did you start contacting and making reservations at the restaurants? I briefly recall seeing someone mention buying a "food plan". Does that work gluten-free/CF?

    Oh Liz, THANK YOU!! What a great idea!! I've been stewing about Carleigh's birthday because she just hasn't liked any of the cakes I've made. I was thinking about trying to do something with her raspberry sorbet or Tofutti ice cream. This would be PERFECT. She LOVES K-TOOS!

    We love the banana bread recipe from Carol Fenster. I use the 3T. water/3T. canola oil/2 tsp. baking powder or 1/2c. applesauce to sub for the eggs. Open Original Shared Link

    Larry ~ I emailed them awhile ago but didn't hear from them either. Maybe we need to call them?! I have been using the Bobs Red Mill sorghum flour but really like the idea of buying direct instead.

    Outback is one of the few restaurants that my dd has eaten successfully at. However, on vacation, we ate at one in Ft. Lauderdale FL and it was a bad experience. But, it was everyone's food that was wrong, not just hers.
