    Just wanted to update this thread.. I've now had my 3rd cycle with the Diva Cup. This month, I ended up cutting the stem entirely off because it still kept bothering me. But, I really did love not having to deal with pads and tampons again. Once, it was a bit messy because I let it get too full on my heaviest day. Thank goodness I was at home.

    I kind of played around with something awhile ago but it didn't come out very good. Now I have a pie crust recipe that would probaly come out really well with some raspberry jelly and powdered sugar on top.

    When my dd first went gluten-free, we started out with the FFL Millet Bread. Then we started experimenting with homemade bread.     I also wrap my bread in plastic wrap, and then in a plastic ziplock bag and put in the frig. Sometimes my dd goes through the bread rather quickly if she's in a "sandwich" phase. Otherwise, it lasts a bit longer. I plan on making bread once/week though.

    Awww.. ((hugs)). Her children must be incredibly strong to be able to get up and talk at the service. My father passed away when I was 17 and I could not get up and do that then. I hope that you can draw strength from your happy memories of her and know that she will be watching over you and her family now. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers...

    Where is the "jumping with joy" smilie? WOO HOO!!! I was very surprised to see Blake in the bottom 3 too! I didn't think he sang nearly as bad as Chris. And, the Simon thing, you can see in the replay tape from last night that he was talking to Paula and was asking her why he would sing/say something about nasal singing. I thought it was very apparant...

    I thought that Jordin and Melinda were really good. Blake was just OK to me. I normally don't like Phil, but I thought his singing was a bit better than it usually is. I liked LaKisha's song better than the last few weeks, but maybe it's cuz I like the song. I thought that Chris and Sanjaya were terrible!! I think I missed Haley too!

    Paula ~ just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and saying a prayer for you, your friend's family and all those that love her. I know that today will be incredibly difficult and I pray for peace and strength for all of you.

    I wanted to add my thoughts and prayers for everyone at VT and for all the families and friends who are grieving right now. I also praying for the shooter's family. Julie, I'm so glad that you are safe. This just makes me so sad. I gave my kids an extra long hug this morning as I sent them off today.

    I need to replace my crockpot because the lid (plastic) is warped. It's 15 years old. Has anyone bought one recently? I read reviews on Amazon for the new ones and they all say that they run really hot and burn things. Anyone tried a West Bend?

    My son doesn't have any problems with gluten. He was a VERY late talker too and I was worried. He finally started talking at around 3 1/2-4 years.
