  9. Over the past year my local A &P has been stocking some gluten-free items such as Gluten Free Pantry mixes and cookies; so I wrote the headquarters in Montvale NJ a nice letter thanking them and asking for more stuff like Erewhon gluten-free and Glutino, etc. But thanking them profusely for adding gluten-free to their store. Just last week mhy local...
  10. It's a very good product and will fool anyone that it's gluten-free. I have started seeing it in my local Shop Rite supermarket too.
  11. Deb, I understand with what you're saying as I have hair that also needs a shampoo that is not as gentle as Dove; we need shampoo with "detergent" in it (that's what my beautician says and also says it strips my hair too much, but she doesn't understand that the "gentler" shampoos don't cleanse it as well).
  12. How are you preparing the foods? any frying in oils?
  13. I suggest that you ask your GI for a recommendation for a General Practioner; remind him/her that you need someone who is at least eager to learn about celiac disease if they don't know too much about it in first place; but you'd prefer someone who knows what celiac disease is.
  14. You probably need to see a pediatric colon specialist.....maybe his spincter muscle is not expanding properly to "let out" waste.
  15. Ursa We've been using it here in NJ since the 1960's -- used to be a big concentration of Germans here in union County area. A Day Care lady I know is hooked on this and won't use anything else. Too bad they don't make it in a tube. Thanks for your help.
  16. Best baby rash creme ever but is it gluten Free?
  17. sorry, the expiration date is 3/7/07
  18. No Wegman's nearby....it's in south Woodbridge and I am near Elizabeth. Wegman's is not close enough to make it a regular shopping trip. Where I am in NJ developers are reluctant to build due to high taxes (too close to NYC); no one wants to pay such high taxes-they'll go somewhere else in NJ to open up; somewhere where the taxes are less and the crime...
  19. My mom & mom in law both say that during the 1940-50's era they were told as new mothers that formula was better than breast milk. They were discouraged to breast feed. During the 1960's when the "hippies" started breastfeeding again, the "establishment" was aghast that these young women were resorting back to the "old days", etc. It has had this...
  20. Which has a better selection?
  21. As I promised, I finally got a post card showing a discount/sale code of 30% when you use this code to order over internet or by phone: SHOPSPRE Happy Shopping!
  22. Lister: I barely believe in God anymore but I will definitely say a prayer for you to have peace of mind and hope before I go to bed tonight. HIV is not 100% definite as someone mentioned earlier. D.
  23. It might sound unforgiving but we "dump" people who either say things like that, or make faces and roll eyes or say or do anything like what your friend did. We do not have the time nor patience for those who WANT to stay ignorant or for those who dismiss celiac disease as "all in the head" or just want to make us know that they feel we are overeacting...
  24. Flame should be blue. Caloric was a terrible brand for stoves...my mom, aunt and mom in law had one and it was always breaking down.
