    I agree, animal abuse seems to overshadow child abuse....I have seen people gather in the hundreds outside court for animal abuse...but I never saw more than a blip on the news about a 5 yr old girl raped by her stepfather and needed reconstructive surgery to sew up the damage done.     the only thing we eat at Wendy's (we rarely get there)...is chili or meat patty or baked potatoe... I've seen the fryer and at any Wendy's I have been to, none had dedicated fryers. Wendy's is also bad for taking the meat off the bun and putting it on a platter..last time it happened, the "chick" in the back" rolled her eyes when I asked her to get patty...

    umm, sounds like bad advice.. although it may come from "dr"...its not advice to follow. Accidental gluten is one thing, but saying "its okay to eat it".........nope IMHO Typical advice you'd get from someone who does not have celiac and one who does not have to live with the after effect.... sandy

    I dont bake with wheat flour anymore, any gluten comes in the house already made (for hubby). Kathryn got very sick from playing in an empty grain bin with her cousins, at her Uncle's farm. She has also gotten sick from working with paper mache. I have heard of drywallers (with celiac) needing to wear heavy duty masks (more than just the surgical)...

    I'm no expert either, and going gluten free wll cause no problem and may help. Keep in mind there are liver problems NOT caused by celiac, they will look at those as well.     intertesting read - I too had her pegged for celiac in the first 2 paragraphs! I think human doctors should spend time in a vet clinic. We have to rely totally on body language, symptoms and history.
