I don't live in a mansion, we have about 3600sqft. We essentially have an apartment in our basement. I use the kitchen for my cake decorating, the living room is our theater room and the bedroom is my gym. Now we're out a theater and a gym I wasn't going to give up my kids' rooms and they each have 2 beds in their rooms. Hubby thinks maybe if all the guests are in the basement together, it will give them incentive to find an apartment sooner...

Lost on the wilds of VT for a week- on Lake Champlain where I could turn right to Canada or left to NY-we were 50 miles away from Montreal). Tis the poifect place for all of us!

Tele-hubby had stroke scare (not so funny). He's OK but for those of you who haven't been around c.com for 5 years (yikes!) he had a stroke in July of 2005 and lost half his cerebellum. He has very few left over complications but he was taken to the ER (while I was 5 hours away) because he was having similar symptoms.

So, I beg the pardon of our Queen. Just wanted to poop in and say hi!

Thanks youse guys- it TWAS scary because no matter what- plane, bus or drive, it was going to take 5 hours to get home (it was 10 PM and everything near was closed).

Yes- half of his cerebellum is dead. So weird. The brain amazes me- he had the same type of stroke that NFL player Tedy Bruschi had. They have no idea why but we have our suspicions (happened right after a chiro neck adjustment).

Em- Yes, and for that matter why can't my now defunct gall bladder have been revived as your pancreas? What the French Toast?

Hi Judy! 95 here in Kansa City with the humidity 105. Does it cool down at night? When we lived in Sacramento it would be 110 but 65 at night. The new AC was expensive but it's working well.

Glad you put where you live Karen I wasn't sure. Yes USUALLY does cool down with a great breeze but not last nite. Was still 88 at 9:00 PM.
