  1. happy for you ...... I felt the same way after I got gluten-free oatmeal. I never ate a lot of oatmeal prior to my Dx's but just knowing there was something I could not have then my body wanted it so bad...I still can only eat 1/2 cup maybe twice a month but I don't crave it any longer.....enjoy enjoy enjoy....
  2. congrats on the puppy....as an animal lover it sounds like puppy is having food/intestinal issues as well....We use a holistic vet who does not use traditional vet care but all alternatives...If you can look for a new vet.... We use probiotics for our kitty & all gluten-free food....even though you were feeding...

GMO"S are BAD.....The US is far behind the rest of the world when it comes to stopping GMO products in this country...that is as far as I agree with the parents.... And if you have been eating gluten free , you can not get an accurate test result....while eating gluten-free...... And...
  5. Here are a couple to check out.. coral white tea tree toothpaste, good gums, earthpaste, & Himalaya toothpaste.. always read ingredients to make sure there are no ingredients that you may react too...also baking soda & perioxide sprinkled over the brush works great....
  6. It all takes patience & lots of time... Sometimes "accidents" become one of the greatest learning tools so chalk it up as a learning tool, make it a positive , you probably will not do it again .... Mishaps may be creep in at times while you are figuring it all out ..... Since there is wheat in your house make sure there...

  8. have you cleaned out your kitchen of utensils & cooking utensils that maybe harboring wheat crumbs? Keeping your food very plain & simple without a lot of processed stuff will help... gluten hides in everything....
  9. sorry your are having a hard time .....I really have no answers but have you looked into the low histamine diet and or both & fodmaps along with gluten free?

  12. if you get salmon make sure it is wild caught not the farm raised in swamp water! Cod, halibut, haddock, barramundi are all mild fish....wild caught fish is a staple at our house....You can do anything thing with fish, pan fry, bake, broil, deep fry, sauté with veggies.....
  13. yes, I believe they say that but not positive.....I don't have a bag at present ... I try to keep a bag for just in case.....but ran out!!!!

  15. they do make an electric turkey fryer which we have & love it.....so we usually do 1 roasted turkey traditional style. Then do 1 either fried or smoked in a smoker... a smoked turkey tastes more like ham!!! We make the stuffing in a separate pan... also when you fry a turkey you don't get the goodies for gravy...

Have you tried bio-feedback? also gluten can be addicting same as a drug... also I would check out doing a complete vitamin & mineral work-up to see if you lacking a nutrient or very low in nutrients ...... And Yes I agree to buying yourself some gluten-free comfort food & carrying it with you...
  17. maximoo,,,,, I have faked people out many times with these gluten-free meatballs, even had meatball subs one night when friends came over & stayed for supper....I had nothing planned for extra people so I did the subs & what a hit.....

  19. I got it for $14.00 but reg.19.95 where I'm at.....I have only found a box of KAF not a 3# bag or a large amount... I bake so much a box wouldn't last me long ....does KAF come in large bags?

  21. You know your husband so if you think he would cheat without knowing for positive testing then by all means I vote for him to eat a loaded full gluten diet for at least a month then retest.... He should be consuming as much gluten as he can for testing....& if it were me I would not do the surgery until after...

Sounds like you are in control.... a stand mixer is fine but take a good look at a hand mixer where the air vents are, you probably will see residue of wheat flour blowing around or suck to the air vents.. I would get a new hand mixer.. Also if you have a bread maker used with wheat flour , get a new one for...

  25. I never put Ian's on top of Bean casserole , I just always did my own for the casserole.. But I do know people who put Funyuns ( snack food) on top of the casserole & have done that for many years......funyuns are gluten-free...
