If you wanted this to be helpful, you would tell us which product contained gluten. Benadryl makes so many different items - pills, syrup, capsules, etc. I doubt they all contain gluten. I keep trying to find the study that was done of many medications and they only found actual gluten in a tiny number.

Gluten in medications is extremely rare. Just because a company does not want to test for gluten, does not mean it isn't gluten-free.

I wouldn't use Enterolab for anything. The genetic tests are probably accurate but a lot of the other stuff they "test" for isn't medically accepted. I got my genetic test from Quest. But it seems to me that the basic Celiac blood panel (for antibodies) was about the same price as the genetic test. You can call them and ask. -

I can't imagine that it's that it would or couldn't have gluten . But you could always check with the company that makes it. -

So, it really can't tell if you have Celiac from those 2 tests. the "serum IGA " tests to see if you are able to make " IGAs" . Being low says that you don't. That isn't due to Celiac and may mean nothing to your health. What it means is that this IGA type of Celiac test is to valid. There is a version called IGG - that would be valid. ... -
Have you thought about getting some sort of counseling/ psychological help? Seems like you could use someone to help with coping with your family issues ... maybe one that specializes in eating disorders. Sounds to me like your problems with your family are affecting your eating and digestion.

It probably depends on what you actually had. They didn't test for Celiac and the allergy testing wasn't the most accurate. Have you been strictly wheat free for all those years? You could certainly go to an allergist and explain the situation. Try wheat in the office (in case of a bad reaction). -

I think the stuff mark d FB is really really gluten-free. Know lots of people that buy it with no issues -
To me it sounded like he thought frying corn chips would contaminate the oil . I never eat there. I know a few years ago, the one by me was pretty Celiac friendly. Maybe you had to have grilled wings? They would get a clean bowl to toss them for Celiacs. I don't know because I wasn't interested. Maybe it depends on the store? I would imagine...

Why would frying corn tortillas hurt? Even if the topping contained gluten ( and yeast is not gluten), the tortillas are just corn? Right? i am not saying they may have other issues, but I think you have missed the actual gluten containing foods and possible cc

Pack a lunch or snack? Protein bars, sandwich, crackers and cheese slices, etc I hope they diagnosed you on more than a gene?

Odd. And I wonder why she thinks she doesn't have Celiac? But her little experiment does show that some people may be going over board with new and separate pots, etc -
In the past, a few of us sent each other Xmas cards. Some people made them or sent a card that showed something in their town. If people want to do that, they can pm addresses or even email cards.

I found this to be true. I think as you go along, you get into a groove - things become habit. You think about it less because I think becomes second nature.

Sounds like you haven't seen an actual doctor and gotten tested for Celiac before going gluten free? Sounds like you are spending a lot of money for this stuff.
