    Oats may be gluten free, yet many celiacs can not tolerate them. And yes, they do have a cross contamination issue too.     Yeah, I can't have them, I can't have soy. Soy lecithin is ok, but soy flour is out. I knew it would be something I couldn't have.

    I have eaten Quaker Rice Cakes for almost 8 yrs and have never been glutened by them. I react to the tiniest amout of gluten too and have never had a problem with Quaker.     I think it's ridiculous for a doctor to tell a patient they have celiac, but it's dormant. More or less, that is what they are saying when they say "latent".     I think the cross contamination factor in these cereal factories has to be considered. Even if they claim there is no gluten in a product, cross contamination will always be a factor.     I ran out around 10:30 and it was beautiful, then I ran out several times to check on it. It was too cold to stand outside and watch and I do not have windows to watch from. The last time I ran out, it was over ! What I did see, was beautiful!
