    My dd also vomits when she accidentally gets glutened. It, also, goes on for hours. Her celiac testing was inconclusive by the allergist. But since going gluten-free, it only happens now once in a while when she accidentally gets something.

    Do you sub the guar on a 1:1 basis for the xanthan gum? Even though it is expensive, it lasts me about 3 months or so. Paula ~ I also got a lot of cook books from the library.     Noone went home last night ~ but Ryan had everyone stand and declared them safe one by one until it was only Chris and Jordin left. Then he said that because it was a charity night noone was going home. Next week the bottom 2 will go home though.

    I used to have a sourdough started that only had water, sugar, yeast and potato flakes in it. It was very delicious. I wonder if it would work gluten-free. Although, it isn't the "traditional" sourdough taste like you'd buy at a bakery. Hmm....

    Hi Paula ~ just wanted to let you know that you and your neighbors are still in my prayers. We lost one of our guinea pigs last week and it has been really hard on my kids. Not the same as loosing your friend, but a loss just the same.

    Oh, man! Great idea, Angie!! Last year, before we went on vacation, I spent HOURS making hot dog and hamburger buns with the tin foil for Carleigh.
