    ITA! I just disagree, Hawkfire. I liked Sanjaya at auditions and at the very beginning. Yes, I'm sure that AI does their fair share of manipulating some of it. But Vote For the Worst and everyone who is voting for Sanjaya not because they like his singing is RUINING the competition. I'm glad that it's so funny for you!

    No kidding!! I checked their website and there wasn't anything that my dd could have because of the additional allergies. I WISH someone could bake me a VANILLA cake that she would eat!! I've tried at least 25 recipes and they either don't come out right or she doesn't like them

    I actually didn't watch the show on Tuesday night because I just don't enjoy that music. I saw enough on the clips last night. I just went to that website (votefortheworst.com). It's not that Gina was my favorite, it's that Sanjaya is STILL there that bugs me. I'm not sure what I"ll do next week. BUT, I know I won't watch next season!

    We took little trip to Cooqi this weekend in the rain. I tried to call them, but kept getting the answering machine so we just went. My dd is gluten-free, dairy and egg free. There are 3 things she could have ~ pizza crust, foccacia and baguette. All they had was a mini foccacia that was $3.50 We will go again, but I will make sure to reserve those...

    Angie ~ I really think you should stick with Gunther then. Your grandmother sounds like a wonderful person to honor. My kids both have middle names for family. My son (Nicholas Charles) was named for my father who passed away when I was only 17 years old. I am also a big "meaning" fan, though. His name means Victorious Man and I remind him of that...

    Larry ~ I recall we talked about that before. I tried to order from them too, but never heard back. Did they "bill" you? Carleigh just loves their bread recipe that I make. I have only made bread from twin valley mills and Carol Fenster though. Maybe I'll try Lorka's bread this weekend!

    Hmm, Ill have to check their website. I know she likes steamed broccoli, but the loaded potatos would definitely be out. I was thinking that is probably cross-contamination that got her. It made her feel bad for a short time, enough for her to not want to go back.

    Bummer! I'll be interested to know if it comes out better without the gelatin. The only thing I make with gelatin is Carleigh's bread and it comes out great.

    I started out making Carol Fenster's sandwich bread with sorghum flour. Carleigh liked it well enough, but I couldn't get it to rise very well. Then I found a recipe at www.twinvalleymills.com with a blend of sorghum/tapioca/cornstarch and also calls for milk powder and gelatin. It worked much bettter for me so that is what I make now. Some day...

    That's great! What did you have when you went? DH and I love Chili's, but have been going during lunch "dates" because every time we ate there, Carleigh didn't feel well afterward.

    I finally got around to watching AI this weekend. I really enjoyed this week much better than last week's show too. I also really liked LuLu. She seemed to really give the girls better critique than previous stars did. I thought Haley's song was cute, although she's not really a favorite. The crying girl with Sanjaya was ridiculous I don't think...
