Hi Sills.......no one answered my Homeland question, so I guess I am alone in this CRACK addiction?? dear gawd....

Hi Suzie - you are not alone in the Homeland Addiction -- my hubby and I are Hooked! Had a hard time getting into it last year mid-season so we caught up with the marathon weekend they had before the new season started -- you will never guess what's coming -- no worries I won't post any spoilers -- at least not unless the fog rolls in ;)

Yep, that's in Scottsdale, at one of several valley AND statewide locations of Picazzo's, serving by far the FIRST gluten-free commercial-establishment pizza I'd been w/in sniffing distance of. (argh Em! 'of which I'd been w/in sniffdist'? <aka to dangle or not to dangle?>)

Now if only I can find a place using goat mozz & organic tomato sauce too.

OMG!!!!! :o SILLIES I just happened to check my bank statement online - I do look at checking almost every day, but credit card only every week or so....some evil person in Conn. charged $1600 to Lufthansa airlines - - did it today, thank GOD i looked - charges had not gone through and I am being issued a new card.....we caught it in time and those DEVILS will NOT get the ticket (or the ticket refund they were most likely after).....this has never happened to me, 'tis horrifying !! :unsure:

Brown little thing, it moved fast. I thought i got it with my english textbook (it was the only thing handy) so i dropped it on it then jumped on it. Stupid carpet. It then disappered under the couch :blink: pulled the couch out and spotted it (couldn't get back in there) so i ran got the viniger windex and it escaped. -sigh-

I like spiders.. . . ..don't ever kill them unless they're on my bed with me or about to crawl into something I'm cooking. They're so ugly, they're beautiful somehow....

:blink: spiders..... -shiver-... When i lived in MT we had some that were pretty big and were poisonous. We called them hobo spiders and they were fast as heck....

At any rate i get to go to the store today. Not going to get much cause i'm going home next week for break (yay!). But as it is right now i'm out of a few things...

I was friends with Metta off board too. She had been ill for quite some time. I apologize, guys, under normal circumstances I would have sent an email to let you all know. She was a sweet person who would do and did anything for her family, called it like it was, and fought bravely. I miss her.

Fer years we have pondered over a Sillie Summit--where we could have it, when could all of us make it......well, I think we have phinally phound the perfect place.

um, I do not believe in the nonsense of horoscopes.....but have been very, very close to three people born on November 7th and one

on November 5th - and O M G they are all lying, conniving, very secretive, and not to be trusted.....inauthentic and at times quite cruel.....

this made me decide I would never be involved with scorpios again.....Didna know that we have some Psillie Pscorpios, are y'all hidin sumthin from us ?? shady intent, nefarious pasts, subtle but telling secrets and lies ?!?! ;)

Did not have the pleasure of knowing her. I believe I joined after she stopped writing. My heart and prayers go to all of you and her family who knew and cherished her. I wish I had known her. She sounds like a bright and shining star.

      Is there a digestive enzyme that helps build a healthier gut? I see people taking them but not sure what really works

      So the tTG-IGA at 28 is positive for celiac disease. There are some other medical conditions that can cause elevated tTG-IGA but this is unlikely. There are some people for whom the dairy protein casein can cause this but by far the most likely cause is celiac disease. Especially when your small bowel lining is "scalloped".       hi, i want to say thank you to you and @trents . after 2 phone calls to my GI, her office called me back to tell me that a blood test was “unnecessary” and that we should “follow the gold standard” and since my biopsy did not indicate celiac, to follow the no dairy and sucraid diet. i luckily have expendable income and made an appt for the labcorp blood t...

      Okay that is really good to know. So with that being positive and the other being high it makes sense she diagnosed her even without the endoscopy. So glad we caught it early. She had so many symptoms though that to me it was clear something was wrong. yeah I think we had better test us and the other kids as well.

      So the tTG-IGA at 28 is positive for celiac disease. There are some other medical conditions that can cause elevated tTG-IGA but this is unlikely. There are some people for whom the dairy protein casein can cause this but by far the most likely cause is celiac disease. Especially when your small bowel lining is "scalloped". Your Serum IGA 01 (aka, "total IGA") at 245 mg/dl is within normal range, indicating you are not IGA deficient. But I also think it would be wise to take your doctor's advice about the sucraid diet and avoiding dairy . . . at least until you experience healing and your gut has had a chance to heal, which can take around two years. After that, you can experiment with adding dairy back in and monitor symptoms. By the way, if you want the protein afforded by dairy but need to avoid casein, you can do so with whey protein powder. Whey is the other major protein in dairy.

Studies have demonstrated that endomysial IgA antibodies have over 99% specificity for gluten sensitive enteropathy. Immunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum 01 245 mg/dL 87-352
