I will start looking for nice houses in my neighborhood here in Kansas for you. I will not find any with a MIL suite.

Don't know about New Zealand if the thought of the proximity of your MIL gives you the shakes.... :rolleyes:

New Zealand is bloody far from ANYWHERE in Canada... . ..there would be a nice, huge expanse of ocean and topography between us.....no dropping in, no constant phonecalls... . ...

OMG....it still hasn't sunk in.. . . ... . ..next summer. She. Will. Be. HERE.

Kansas is pretty far. If she has seen the Wizard of Oz, she might never want to visit. And we have wild packs of wandering standard poodles so the dogs would have a club to join.

I was making him breakfast yesterday :ph34r: -at noon- and he casually said "oh, I've been thinking about my recipes and I'm pretty sure I can rework most of them so you can eat them." :) So far he's made me omelets and sweet and sour chicken, but I'm sure he'll do more. He told me he was late meeting me the other day because he was getting a tour of the gluten-free section at the store. Sweet man. :)

Psillyville has been a little tumbleweedy, lately. I'm sure her move will provide lots of interesting stories. You might even want to start a book, Em.

Ummmm.......isn't there somebody who should be warned, though? :unsure: Do you have, like, a National Guard or sumphin' up there in Canada?.....the highway patrol?.......Homeland security?........Royal Mounties?........

picked him up in a (coffee) bar. He lives across the bridge, actually..or...that's where his boat is moored for the time being. He's only been back from Mexico since August so he's still trying to figure out what to do. He retired, got divorced, sold everything, bought a boat, and that's where he is......suddenly realizing that he's got to figure out how to entertain himself for the next twenty years or so....I'm suggesting handy work on my house. :P I even said he could use my miter saw. :D

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
