For those of you who don't know the seventh and final Harry Potter book will be released on July 21 2007.

I'm a major fan of the books so July can't come fast enough

So are any of you out there fans of books?

Huge fan!!

I am waiting to see if the end of the last book will hold up. I hope she's faking us out a bit! I do not want to say too much in case I turn this into a spoiler for those that haven't read it yet. We have looked into pre-oredering the last book but may wait fora bit to see how it goes. My mother-in-law usually sends the books to our son for his birthday after they are released.

big fan here! DH and I have read the series together several times. I also hope that the last book is as good as all the others. Are you guys fans of the movies? I still can't decide whether I like them or not :P

Oh my goodness, I am so excited! I'm not going to have to teach in July, so I'm going to be able to curl up with the book on a nice lounge chair, sipping ice tea and eating gluten free cookies. I can't wait!!!!!

HUGE fan here too!! In fact, when the last book came out, dh and I had the kiddos at Borders for Harry's birthday party!! My older child dared me to play "Bertie Botts Wheel of MisFortune." I ended up eating three jelly beans - pepper, vomit, and grass. Ummmm, can you say... nasty?? He just laughed and laughed.

It was a lot of fun, they made magic wands, did face painting, wizard hats - all kinds of stuff. Lots of fun!

While I have serious issues with the movies (like half the story being left out) - I do like them. Though, I do not find the dementors to be as "scary" in the MOVIES as I do the books. LOL!

(My bday is that week too!!!)

The movie Order of the Phoenix is coming out on the 13th. It's my birthday that day, so I know what I'm doing!

The movies would be over 4 hours long! It wouldn't bother me, but you know, some people might walk out of the theatre.

I remember when we saw the Prisoner of Azkaban, Ty talked the WHOLE time: They're on the train how come the dementedors aren't there? Where are the dementedors? Where's Herminonee? Shouldn't Herminonee be there? There's the moon how come Lupin's not a werewolf yet? Where's the werewolf? What happened to Buckbeak? When is Harry going to see himself?

It was non-stop. He was only about 5, but knew the whole storyline because I'd read him part of the book and he had the computer game. I loved how he said demented-ors and Her-my-non-ee.

July is going to be a fantastic month for us Hp fans. I think I will be desprate for the by the 12th so the movie will be enough to stop me going insane lol. We lucky ducks here in Australia are getting it a day early than the U.S and U.K as opossed to 3-4wks later wich it has been in the past.

Yep but you'll be paying at least double for it :D Really I couldn't beleive the price of books in Oz... especially novels.

I'm looking forwards tot he final book before I start the last one... so I can read right through...

I think the whole series is very well written and I read it in both English and French...(up to the last book)

There are very few books I will buy new and in hardback, the HP's are a big exception. I can not wait! And a new movie to boot! July is going to be a good month.

Can't wait! My kids and I are big HP fans. We like to listen to the books on compact disc. We like the movies but, I'd rather see a mini series with the entire story than the edited versions on film.

Is Snape good or evil?......

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!

i'm betting on snape still being good----i think there is going to be a plot twist---like maybe snape killing dumbledore was all about saving malfoy from becoming trapped in with the evil ones.

That is so funny. Your description of your son was identical to what I was saying to my husband in the theatre. I read the books and he doesn't. I wonder, if I act like your son, should I really be telling people my age. Hmmmm...LOL

I like the books and the movies.

I've always hoped that Snape was good, not because I parictulary like the character, would just be nice to see. Also hope that Draco turns out ok, although I'm not sure that he will live for that much longer.

They think the book will cost about $50.00 AUS here. I think that you half to get the US equivilant. The price will come down tho when the paper back version is released, also if you can usually get it slightly cheaper on the first day if you go to a discount store.

Anybody besides me hoping that Dumbledore is not really dead?

Remember in the first book, at the very first potions lesson, Snape asked Harry what he would get if he combined an infusion of wormwood with asphodel? The Draught of the Living Death.

Only thing is, it doesn't explain how Dumbledore's portrait appeared in his office....

I think Snape is good, too--just human, with faults. Same with Draco--he couldn't bring himself to kill Dumbledore--and remember, HIS mother loves him. THat's gotta mean something.

I think Snape is still good, but I think he was forced 'magically' to kill Dumbledore as he had an unbreakable oath to Malfoy's mother to ensure he was not harmed.

i keep thinking that maybe dumbledore isn't really dead. i have been watching harry potter again this morning. my oldest son was here and i just rambled on and on about the harry potter stories. he just listens to me even if i repeat the same things as the last time i rambled on and on about it!LOL!!! anyone else want to put on a robe and ride a broom after reading the books?

oh yeah, what's your guess as to who the initials belong to in the last book that was out?---the name of the book escapes me, as do the initials.

Ha-ha, yes, I always feel after reading HP that if someone would only hand me a broom, I could fly...

The book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and the initials are R.A.B. I have no idea who R.A.B. is. Sirius' brother, Regulus Black, maybe? But we don't know what his middle name is.

I LOVE Harry Potter. My husband an I read all the books out load. We take turns. It is a lot of fun. Then we talk about what happend and try figuring out why. Hehe

So 2 people will die in the book. Sometimes I wonder if Dumbledore actually is n't dead and will come back in this last one..and maybe he will really die in it along with Voldemort. But who knows..

Thus has got to STOP , medical bit believing us! I literally went through 31 years thinking it was just a food allergy as its downplayed by medical if THEY weren't the ones who diagnosed us! Im positive for HLA-DQ2 which is first celiac patient per Iran and Turkey. Here in the States especially in Cali its why do you feel that way? Why do you think your celiac? Your not eating gluten so its something else.Medical caused me depression. I thought I was safe with my former pcp for 25 years considering i thought everything I went through and going through will be available when I get fired again for health. Health not write-ups my health always come back when you're better.Im not and being tossed away at no fault to my own other than shitty genes.I was denied disability because person said he didn't know how to classify me! I said Im celiac, i have ibs, hernia, sciatica, high blood pressure, in constant pain have skin and eye issues and menopause intensified everything. With that my celiac nightmare began to reprove my disregarded disease to a bunch of clowns who think they are my careteam when they said I didn't have...I feel Im still breathing so I can fight this so no body else has to deal with this nightmare. Starting over with " new care team" and waisting more time on why I think I am when diagnosed in 1994 before food eliminated from my diet. P.s everything i went through I did write to medical board, so pretty sure I will continue to have a hard time.

@Scatterbrain, Thiamine Vitamin B1 and amino acid Taurine work together.  Our bodies can make Taurine from meats consumed.  Our bodies cannot make Thiamine and must consume thiamine from food.  Meat is the best source of B vitamins like Thiamine.   Vegetarians may not make sufficient taurine since they don't eat meat sources of taurine.  Seaweed is the best vegetarian source of taurine. Vegetarians may not consume sufficient Thiamine since few veggies are good sources.  Whole grains, legumes, and nuts and seeds contain thiamine.  Many of these sources can be hard to digest and absorb for people with Celiac disease.   You may find taking the forms of thiamine called Benfotiamine or TTFD (tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) and a B Complex will give the benefits you're looking for better than taurine alone.

@Jmartes71, I went to Doterra's site and had a look around.  The Doterra TerraZyme supplement really jumped out at me.  Since we, as Celiacs, often have digestive problems, I looked at the ingredients.  The majority of the enzymes in this supplement are made using black mold, Aspergillus!  Other enzymes are made by yeast Saccharomyces!  Considering the fact that Celiac often have permeable intestines (leaky gut syndrome), I would be very hesitant to take a product like this.  Although there may not be live black mold or yeast in the product, the enzymes may still cause an immune system response which would definitely cause inflammation throughout the body.   Skin, eyes, and intestines are all made from the same basic type of cells.  Your skin on the outside and eyes can reflect how irritated the intestines are on the inside.  Our skin, eyes, and intestines all need the same vitamins and nutrients to be healthy:  Vitamin A, Niacin B3 and Tryptophan, Riboflavin B2, Biotin B7, Vitamin C, and Omega Threes.  Remember that the eight B vitamins work together.  Just taking high doses of just one, vitamin like B12, can cause a deficiency in the others.  Taking high doses of B12 can mask a Folate B9 deficiency.  If you take B12, please take a B Complex, too.  Thiamine B1 can be taken in high doses safely without toxicity.  Thiamine is needed by itself to produce energy so every cell in the body can function, but Thiamine also works with the other B vitamins to make life sustaining enzymes and digestive enzymes.  Deficiencies in either Niacin, Vitamin C, or Thiamine can cause digestive problems resulting in Pellagra, Scurvy, and Gastrointestinal Beriberi.   If you change your diet, you will change your intestinal microbiome.  Following the Autoimmune Protocol Diet, a Paleo diet, will starve out SIBO bacteria.  Thiamine keeps bacteria in check so they don't get out of control as in SIBO.  Thiamine also keeps MOLDS and Yeasts from overgrowth.   Menopause symptoms and menstrual irregularities are symptomatic of low Vitamin D.   Doctors are not as knowledgeable about malnutrition as we need them to be.  A nutritionist or dietician would be more helpful.   Take control of your diet and nutrition.  Quit looking for a pill that's going to make you feel better overnight.  The Celiac journey is a marathon, not a sprint.   "Let food be your medicine, and let medicine be your food."

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.
