  1. Absolutely! I started having stomcah issues at the age of 1-1/2 or 2 years of age. My sysmptoms came and went for years, I never knew when I would get sick. I was finally diagnosed at 13 years of age due to the symptoms being a daily occurence. I was always a D sufferer but some people get C, or both C and D. I put out tremendous amounts of heat when...

  4. Nope, I have no idea what day I was diagnosed. All I remember was it was 1988, I was at a restaurant with my mom eating a huge stack of pancakes and she dropped the bomb.
  5. Look into the americans with disabilities act, it may have some info that could help you. Open Original Shared Link
  6. I wouldn't worry to much. That is the usual standard practice of test results.
  7. It's probably the ipod. Mine did that when I first got it. I had to contact the support center to work out the bugs. Try reinstalling the ipod software, from there you can hit the reset on the ipod. It should tell you how to in the paperwork.
  8. Some lipsticks and cosmetics.
  9. Here's a thought...Make arrangements with a local baker (one that you could trust), you could have your mom bring gluten-free cake mixes with her and buy your own cake pans and bring everything to them. Or you could, again have your mom bring gluten-free cake mixes make the cake at your house, then bring to a cake decorator to have it frosted. There are...
  10. Just to let you know, IBS is litterally just a grouping of symptoms. In other words it means there is something wrong with your stomach, but I don't know what it is. Give the gluten free diet a go, if you feel better you have your answer.
  11. Jess, are you 100% sure you are gluten-free? Have you checked your shampoo, hair gel, toothpaste cremes, lotions. That sort of thing as well? I know you don't eat them, but there is a chance it can get into your mouth via your hands. You also could be one of the unfortunate people that have permanent damage. I think (not positive) that in those cases...
  12. When I get glutened I get a definite frothy floaty diarahea (floats on the water and looks frothy) sometimes it has a bit of an oil slick as well. (they call that stetorea) Not everyone gets that however. I also get distinct stomach cramps. It litterally feels like the insides of my stomach are being eaten. For lack of a better description. It is normal...
  13. Never in my lifetime did I expect to see anything remotely like that. It's fantastic. When I was diagnosed it was considered extremely rare back in 1988.

  16. There isn't always someone on the board at the time of your post, that can answer your questions, so you gotta have patience. (I know it's hard, to though). Sometimes they may miss your post also. Especially if they don't frequent the pre-diagnosis section of the board. I don't have the rash that goes along with the celiac. But there are several people...
  17. I do have an open mind to surgery, but just want to try and keep her body parts in her particularly since she is so young, if at all possible. The Dr. said the stone were all pretty small. Supposedly the epson salts open the bile ducts wide open..... She has also been taking the meds which is supposed to break them up. I think it may turn them back to the...
  18. My 15 year old daughter just got diagnosed with gallstones. They instantly wanted to have me talk to the surgeon about taking it out. Am I crazy for wanting to try and break them up before we do something that radical? They prescribed a medication that is supposed to break the stones up. I was considering trying one of the natural remedies with epson salts...
  19. From my experience it is somewhat normal to be hungry allot. I could feel physically full and still have hunger pains. That continued on for me, for about 4 years after going gluten-free. I was severlly sick when i was diagnosed however. (My body was shutting down). It will go away with time, however each person is different. So I can't give a definate of...
  20. A thought for you. A green marble looking blob could possibly be a gallstone. But like was suggested, you should go apply for medical coupons. Since you are not working you could also apply for food stamps and money to help with rent etc. Don't let your pride get in the way. This could be a good oppurtunity for you to get a medical diagnosis.
